⏰ REMINDER: GCSE English Language Lesson – This Sunday ⏰
This is your weekly reminder for our GCSE English Language session this Sunday 5-6pm, covering key skills for both AQA and Edexcel exam boards. With only a few weeks to go until your Language exams, now is the time to step it up and make every session count. 🎯 We’ll be focusing on: ✅ How to answer exam questions effectively (AQA and Edexcel) ✅ Techniques to boost your marks quickly ✅ Structuring strong responses under timed conditions ⚠️ Important: A Grade 4 or above is required for most college and apprenticeship applications so this exam really matters. If you’re aiming to pass or push your grade higher, this session is for you. 🕖 This Sunday. You don’t want to miss it! Comment “READY” if you’ll be there 👇

Hi, what time will it be on Sunday?
📚 Want Your Child to Actually Remember Quotes?
Most students recognise quotes… but can’t recall them in the exam. That’s the problem. So I’ve created something different 👇 🎯 Dual-coded quote sheets for: • A Christmas Carol • Macbeth • An Inspector Calls • Power and Conflict Poetry These combine visuals + key quotes to help students remember faster and recall under pressure. 💡 Why this works: Students remember images + words together far more effectively than just reading notes. 🎁 I’m giving these away FREE, but you need to complete 2 steps: 1️⃣ Comment below with: Which texts your child is studying (e.g. Macbeth, A Christmas Carol, Jekyll and Hyde) AND one word describing how they currently feel about English (e.g. “stressed” / “confident”) 2️⃣ Like this post 👍 I’ll then send the resources directly to you. Let’s make revision easier AND more effective 👇

With the final few weeks before the Engish exams, what would you like to see delivered in our Sunday class? You may want an essay writing workshop, some retrieval practice sessions, creative writing class or langauge analysis support. We would love to hear your ideas. Jot your ideas below and we will see what we can do.

Important Update: Focused Weekly English Language Lesson (Sunday 5-6pm)
As we move closer to the GCSE exam period, we have been reviewing our live lesson schedule to ensure we are delivering the most effective and impactful support for students. Over recent months, we have been offering multiple live lessons each week, however due to lower attendance across the midweek sessions, we have made the decision to move to one highly focused live lesson each week on Sundays which will be dedicated entirely to GCSE English Language. This allows us to concentrate our time and energy into delivering one powerful, high quality session each week that focuses on the skills students need most in the final months before their exams. These Sunday sessions will focus on: • How to analyse unseen extracts effectively • How to structure Grade 7–9 responses • Creative and transactional writing skills • Exam technique and examiner expectations • Building confidence ahead of the real exams English Language is one of the subjects where students can make significant improvements in a relatively short period of time, but this comes from practising the right skills consistently. With only a few months remaining, this weekly session provides an excellent opportunity for students to strengthen their skills, build confidence and prepare effectively for their GCSE exams. Students who attend regularly between now and the exams will be in a much stronger position than those who do not. I strongly encourage students to take advantage of these sessions and commit to attending weekly. Please comment below if your child will be joining this Sunday’s lesson. It'll be great to see as many of you there as possible 😊

🧠 Why Character and Theme Revision Matters in English Literature
When it comes to revising for Literature, re-reading the whole play or novel won’t cut it, especially when you’re short on time. The smartest way to revise? 👉 Focus on key characters and themes. Here’s why it works: ✅ You know exactly where each character appears ✅ You’re ready with key quotes to drop into any essay ✅ You have quick notes that help you understand their role and development: no waffle, just clarity. This approach makes preparing for mocks ten times easier! 🎁 Freebie Alert: Lady Macbeth Revision Sheet To help you get started, I’ve created a FREE revision sheet all about Lady Macbeth, including: ✔️ When and where she appears in the play ✔️ A bank of her most important quotes ✔️ Short, sharp notes about her character Perfect for quick review sessions, flashcard making or planning essay responses. 👇 Want it? Drop a 🩸 “Lady M” in the comments and I’ll send it straight to you inside Skool. Let’s make revision smarter — not harder. 💪
