Blessed
Today, I was able to explore. Even when life offers new plans, when I let go, more is revealed to me. Getting out of the trap of the mind and into the heart is my mission. I’ve had to cut out a lot to really tune in. I see clearly how distractions are put in our way all the time. It takes courage to walk away from so much that doesn’t serve me. I do witness the blessings with each choice and for that I am grateful.

Cherish that happy smile!
Life gives you what you need
I planned out a full trip this week only to be dropped in temperatures I’ve never felt before. 39 degrees celsius. Impossible to be outdoors and stay hydrated. Almost nauseous just to step outside. But life gave me something else… Beside my hotel is a beautiful buddist temple. I’ve never seen a temple in the middle of a hotel zone. So my week will be spent indoors meditating not exploring as planned!

🤩 wow! (We've got a saying for this case where I live; it goes something like this: "I'm lucky ☘️in the middle of my bad luck🌵"! )

... Strangely enough, I'm finding my body enjoying some of my experiences more intensively - food certainly 👌

I like their colours, the blending of it! Right, true!.. Actually animals are our teachers of the pause! : In hot countries the animals pause during the hottest hours of the day. Humans are the only crazy creatures during that time that keep working! 😮‍💨
What Do You Do?
Out of curiosity what is everyone's go to activity when centering themselves or trying to calm? For me it is breathwork by the water and in the sun. It makes me feel so connected to myself and I can usually get more insights.

@Courtney Walsh Did you know? : I read lately that a simple humming stimulates the vagus nerve. « Humming mechanically vibrates the vocal cords and surrounding structures, directly stimulating the vagus nerve. This vibration activates the parasympathetic nervous system (the "rest and digest" mode), instantly shifting the body out of a stressed or anxious state, slowing your heart rate, and increasing heart rate variability (HRV). »

@Courtney Walsh good 👍. I use some apps for it lately, like if I feel like spending some time exploring meditation or techniques.
