Hello, everyone! My name is Kelly D. I live in Canada, where it has been VERY cold lately! I'm hoping to make some new friends, and find some cleaning tips and shortcuts. In my home, the oven is the most dreaded chore. I often avoid using it, just so I don't have to clean it! That's probably why it's so dirty all the time 😡 The worst thing I ever had to clean was a dead mouse behind my oven. I had a bad smell in the kitchen for several days, and when I finally pulled out the stove, there it was...partly liquified, and crawling with maggots. Makes me sick to think about it! My favorite chore is vacuuming. I can put on my headphones and listen to a podcast, or music, or whatever. I find it really satisfying to dump all that dirt into the garbage, and I can exercise while I am doing it! I'm looking forward to chatting with the rest of you soon!

You clean it. You scrub it. You spray it with strong chemicals. And yet… mold comes back again and again. On bathroom tiles, in corners, around windows, behind sinks — like it never left. It smells bad, looks worse, and honestly feels impossible to defeat. What if I told you that the best mold remover isn’t expensive, isn’t toxic, and is already sitting in your home right now? A simple household item that professionals quietly rely on — while most people completely ignore it. Keep reading, because once you learn this, 𝑚𝑜𝑙𝑑 𝑤𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑓𝑖𝑛𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑦 𝑠𝑡𝑜𝑝 𝑤𝑖𝑛𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔. 𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝑴𝒐𝒍𝒅 𝑰𝒔 𝑺𝒐 𝑯𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝑹𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒍𝒚. Mold isn’t just surface dirt — it’s a living organism. Most people make the mistake of cleaning what they can see, but mold roots itself deep into porous surfaces. Moisture feeds it, warmth helps it spread, and poor ventilation lets it thrive. That’s why wiping mold away doesn’t solve the problem. You’re removing the symptom, not the source. To truly defeat mold, you need something that kills spores and removes moisture — not just something that smells strong. 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒐𝒏 𝑯𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒆𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒅 𝑰𝒕𝒆𝒎 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑩𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒔 𝑴𝒐𝒍𝒅 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚. Here’s the truth that surprises most people: 𝑤ℎ𝑖𝑡𝑒 𝑣𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑔𝑎𝑟 𝑖𝑠 𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑚𝑜𝑠𝑡 𝑒𝑓𝑓𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑒 𝑚𝑜𝑙𝑑 𝑟𝑒𝑚𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑠 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑐𝑎𝑛 𝑢𝑠𝑒 𝑎𝑡 ℎ𝑜𝑚𝑒. Not fancy cleaners. Not harsh bleach. Just plain white vinegar. Vinegar kills up to 80% of mold species and prevents regrowth by changing the surface environment mold needs to survive. It doesn’t mask the problem — it attacks it. 𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝑽𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒈𝒂𝒓 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒔 𝑩𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒏 𝑩𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑴𝒐𝒍𝒅. Bleach looks powerful, but it has a big flaw. Bleach mostly whitens the surface while leaving mold roots alive underneath, especially on porous materials like grout, wood, and walls. Vinegar, on the other hand, penetrates deeper. Its acidic nature destroys mold spores and makes surfaces hostile for future growth. That’s why mold often returns after bleach — but stays gone after vinegar. 𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝒕𝒐 𝑼𝒔𝒆 𝑽𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒈𝒂𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑹𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝑾𝒂𝒚 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑴𝒐𝒍𝒅 𝑹𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒗𝒂𝒍. Using vinegar correctly is key. Pour undiluted white vinegar into a spray bottle. Spray it directly onto the moldy area — don’t wipe immediately. Let it sit for at least one hour. This waiting time allows vinegar to kill the mold at its root. Afterward, scrub lightly with a brush or cloth and wipe clean. For stubborn areas, repeat once more. Simple, safe, and extremely effective.

This is good to know. I have some canvas camping chairs with a few spots on them. I'm going to try this method and see how it works.

Let’s admit it—bathroom cleaning is everyone’s nightmare chore. The very thought of scrubbing tiles, dealing with soap scum, or fighting stubborn toilet stains feels exhausting before you even start. You walk in and see foggy mirrors, water marks on taps, maybe even a faint smell that refuses to leave. And in that moment, you tell yourself, “I’ll do it tomorrow.” But tomorrow becomes next week… and suddenly, your bathroom feels like a battle zone. But what if I told you there are secret, almost magical hacks that can flip the script entirely? Hacks that don’t need expensive products or back-breaking effort… just simple household items and smart tricks. Today, we’re uncovering 5 unexpected hacks that will simplify bathroom cleaning like never before. Because these life-changing tips are the kind you’ll wish you discovered years ago. 𝟏. 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑽𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒈𝒂𝒓 & 𝑩𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒐𝒅𝒂 𝑴𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒄 𝑺𝒉𝒐𝒘. 🪄✨ Picture this: you’re scrubbing tiles for the fifth time this month, and those yellowish stains just laugh at you. Traditional cleaners burn your nose with chemicals, but the grime refuses to budge. Frustrating, right? Now imagine pulling out two simple ingredients from your kitchen—vinegar and baking soda. You sprinkle a little baking soda over the stained area, spray vinegar on top, and suddenly it begins to fizz like a mini volcano. That bubbling reaction? That’s science doing the heavy lifting for you. It breaks down soap scum, loosens grime, and even disinfects surfaces. You wait a few minutes, wipe with a cloth, and—like magic—the stains vanish. No endless scrubbing, no chemical smell. Just a sparkling surface. The best part? It costs less than a cup of coffee. This little trick not only saves time but gives you a strange sense of satisfaction, almost like you’re watching a science experiment clean your home. 𝟐. 𝑳𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒏 𝑷𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓 𝑨𝒈𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒕 𝑾𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒔. 🍋 Let’s talk about another everyday frustration: those ugly white mineral spots on your shiny faucets and showerheads. No matter how many times you wipe, they come back. It feels like your bathroom is constantly fighting against you.
