Dad Christmas Gifts
What do y'all want for Christmas? I love giving gifts and that’s the highlight of my Christmas. I could receive zero gifts and be totally happy. But… people do want to give me gifts and I need to send them ideas😂

I’m the same way! I feel like we’re just wired that way as providers. That being said, my favorite gift I’ve ever received was lottery/ scratch off tickets 😂. I would never buy them for myself but it’s fun to see if you won anything. Everyone likes to huddle around and see if you won too so it’s fun for everyone (I’ve never won anything but maybe this is my year😉).

Dark Hour Dads
I will be moving the Dark Hour Dads call to once monthly. It is officially wrestling season and Lincolns matches are on Monday nights. I love you all but I have way to much fun coaching Lincoln. The next call will be December 9th. I look forward to hearing from y'all!

The great debate
This may be the most important topic we discuss here as husbands and fathers… Minivan or nah? I’m about to double the size of children we tote around and I’m afraid I’m going to have no choice but to convert to minivan life. To be fair- the Kia Carnival has got it going on!

@Logan Kinross Unfortunately we’re in Florida so the snow won’t be an issue! Hahaha I’m trying to find every excuse not to get one but I’m running low. We have to have the space since we’ll have at least 3 kids in car seats plus strollers. I want a Suburban or Yukon but I also don’t want my wife to have to drive a yacht everywhere she goes hahaha

I’ve been known to go on a good doom scroll every now and again. I always convince myself it’s ok when I’m unwinding or like waiting in a line but rarely does any good come from it. Just a distraction. Setting limits is definitely helpful!
