#7 Day AIS Challenge Day 1 Newsletter
Pretty happy with this (I run a gardening business and haven't had mulching spring newsletters ever (it's always been on the to do list though!)). Few iterations which Claude did well. Starting to glimpse the idea of skills and workflows... #exciting

This came out excellent Joe! Mulch luck with the future projects! Sorry.
#AISChallenge Day 3 - It's a SKILL Issue
So this was built regarding a problem I experienced in Day 1 of researching, writing, and formatting a Newsletter. A big problem I encountered was that I had no Brand Kit to give guidelines to the output of the Newsletter. This resulted in too much back and forth with Claude trying to make minor tweaks. So, naturally, I decided to make a Brand-Kit-Extractor SKILL. The idea was to make the SKILL work with either extracting a Brand Kit from your own website for reference, or to use it on any website to extract a Brand Kit that could be used for inspiration or to use that style to apply to any project. The Output would go to an editable Canva Project so the results could be fine tuned if necessary. This was an important distinction, rather than having a single PDF-style page that you could not alter. It is not perfect yet. But has delivered some pretty great results. Enjoy. - What skill you built - brand-kit-extractor SKILL. You enter a URL and it extracts: logo, fonts, color palette, and images into an editable Canva Project. That's it. It organizes the assets into a pre-loaded Canva Template. This Template is completely editable with hexadecimal values and displays all the assets that can be downloaded into any format Canva allows. Plug this downloaded Canva output into any project that requires a brand kit. - One optimization you made - There were a lot of optimizations. One thing I learned is that extracting exact fonts is a PITA, I believe I fixed it. Another thing I learned was getting a real logo in any desirable resolution is also a PITA, I believe I fixed it. I also wanted to provide two logo options: 1. a logo with transparent background and 2. a standard logo with color. Also a bit difficult. The result works and involved how the scan of the website operates. - Screenshot - I provided three screenshots of the output. One was for a website for a local cleaning business I work with. The second was, of course, Nate Herk's website. The third was a popularly admired site Stripe.

@Allen Flores Haa! I did sorta invent a long car that can carry a lot of people to different places while I was already riding a bus. Probably not the easiest way to do it, granted. But, fun.

@Lovedeep Singh Thank you sir!
#AISChallenge Day 2 - The Scrapening!
Hi all! What you scraped: I was thinking of this project as a lead-gen idea. I positioned this as a lead generation scrape for a local service business. In this case a local cleaning biz. I went to Redfin, Zillow would have also worked, and searched real estate listings that were “pending”. This usually means there is some cleaning to do, either post-construction, or move-in/move-out type cleans. I scraped mainly contact information of the realtors associated with the properties, as well as some basic information. (I have hidden the actual contact numbers in the Screenshot for privacy reasons). The goal being to contact them regarding any help they need with cleaning or staging of the property. One thing you learned: I learned that helpful datasets are EVERYWHERE. I am now scraping Municipal Records for Construction Permits, Local Event Licenses, Sporting Events etc… All with the goal of translating those records into leads for any kind of local service biz. One use case idea: I am becoming familiar with public datasets that could help marketing for any local business. A targeted scrape could be offered as a Marketing or Lead-Gen Consultation to local businesses. Day 3 incoming!

@Joe Naughton Awesome. Let's stay in touch and learn from each other. I just posted my Day 3 build, maybe that can help you too.

@Ozan Dag This is really good Ozan! I had not even considered the "days-on-market" trigger. The 3-7 days element is also really nice, and something I had not considered. I will definitely incorporate these elements into the scrape. Can I assume you've worked in this field of local outreach before? Would love to hear any other insights you have. Thanks! (Followed)

@Frank van Bokhorst Beautiful over there. We've spent a lot of time by Augustów nearby. Invite us over for a swim in the lakes. Good luck with the move.

@Frank van Bokhorst I wish you the best! Making that commitment is taxing, but rewarding. An emotional journey. We are hiking the same trail. Feel free to share your trials and laurels. Good luck my friend. ❤️
🚀New Video: I asked Claude Code to make me as much money as possible
I asked Claude Code to make me as much money as possible, and these four upgrades 3x'd my income in 30 days. Most people use AI wrong, and it quietly burns their time and money on stuff that was never going to work. But when you use Claude with this exact code to stack as much money as possible, these fixes change everything. Skip them and you're leaving real wealth on the table. This is exactly what happens when my wife has asked me to vacuum the house, and then checks it. Do not show this to her!
