🎶 Dance Out Your Anxiety in VR | Finding Flow State with Synth Riders, Groovy Labs & My Woojer Haptic Belt ⚡
This week I’m sharing TWO immersive VR dance experiences from Synth Riders and Groovy Labs — both amazing ways to move your body, shift your mindset, and tap into flow state. 💃✨ In both videos, I’m wearing my Woojer haptic belt, which allows me to feel every beat of the music pulse directly through my body and spine. The experience becomes more than just dancing… it becomes a full mind-body connection practice. 🎶⚡ One of the things I love most about immersive movement experiences is how they can help us dance out anxiety, release stress, and reconnect with joy through rhythm, movement, music, and presence. When we fully engage the body and mind together, we often naturally enter a calming flow state where the nervous system can reset and emotions can move through us. 🌌💫 ✨ Synth Riders offers smooth, flowing dance maps that feel almost meditative.✨ Groovy Labs creates a vibrant immersive environment where movement and music become energizing and freeing. VR Apps to Try (Meta Quest): Mind • Body • Creative Spirit — with descriptions!
Hi Skool community! Here’s an updated list of Meta Quest VR apps I recommend to support your Mind • Body • Creative Spirit. Each app is listed on its own line with a quick description so you can choose what you need today. If you already own some of these—great! Try approaching them with a fresh mindset: instead of “What should I do in VR?”, ask “What do I need right now?” - Do I need calm or a nervous-system reset? - Do I need movement or energy? - Do I need connection or play? - Do I need to create or express what I’m feeling? No obligation to purchase anything. I don’t work for (and have no affiliate relationship with) any of these developers. This is simply a curated list built from 6 years of using immersive therapies in a mental health center and seeing what truly supports people. Quick tip: Start with 10–15 minutes, especially if you’re new to VR. 🎨 Creativity & Art Apps BrushworkVR (WebXR) — Paint on a virtual canvas with realistic brush feel; very intuitive and calming (open in Quest Browser). https://brushworkvr.com/paint MultiBrush — 3D painting with lots of tools, plus multiplayer for collaborative art-making. Open Brush — Paint in 3D space (a wonderful “creative release” and flow-state tool). Vermillion — A beautifully realistic oil painting studio in VR for deep focus and soothing creativity. ARTO — A friendly drawing app that makes it easy to create without pressure; great for playful self-expression. VR Sketch — Great for spatial creativity and viewing/working with 3D models (Sketch-style workflow in VR). Let’s Create! Pottery VR — A relaxing pottery wheel experience that feels grounding and meditative. Color Space — You’re inside a coloring book world; simple, soothing, and great for all ages. Special Exhibit — Spatial (My VR Galleries + Community Space) — In Spatial you can explore my immersive spaces, including: a walkthrough of the animated pages of my book, a large gallery of my real-life artwork, a patient art exhibit, and my favorite place to meet people: Mindful Meetings with Jacqueline.

Hi everyone 🤍 I’m excited to share that my books are now available on Amazon and I’ll be weaving them into our program and classroom sessions as a supportive companion to what we’re already doing together. These books were created as gentle tools for grounding, reflection, and creative connection—something you can return to between sessions when you want: - a mindful reset - a steadying breath - a creative spark - or a simple way to come back to the present moment How our sessions will be structured: Each session will follow a monthly outline of content, so you’ll always know the theme, the focus, and what we’re practicing together that month. Think: steady structure + room for creativity. Yes, there will be VR activities too ✨ We’ll include a few optional VR-based experiences as part of our practices—but you do not need a headset to benefit from this work. Most practices can be done anywhere: breathwork, journaling/reflection, simple creative prompts, and grounding exercises. If you do have a headset, you’ll have a fun “bonus layer” to explore.
