I have good news and bad news. The bad news is that I failed the exam twice. The good news is that I'm focusing on updating my resume and beginning to apply to the jobs I saved. Will I try again at the exam later in life? Maybe, but I'm still happy with what I've accomplished already and the experience I've gained regardless of the exam.

It's been a while since I've been here, so I want to give everyone an update. I'm going to be taking the QuickBooks Proadvisor exam next week Wednesday. I have some more remote bookkeeping jobs saved after my exam. I'm also going to be practicing QuickBooks with their sample company data. I'm excited not just about what's coming up very soon, but also how far I've come in such a short period of time. Hope everyone has a good weekend!

I just completed the bookkeeping assignment today. Yesterday, I applied to my first remote bookkeeper position. It's a remote position for a company in Louisiana. The application encourages folks to apply even while they're still learning so I chose to take that opportunity. Things are looking up.

I have a question for the group. Has anyone ever told you that you're good with numbers and that bookkeeping/accounting would be a great fit for you? I ask because I've been told this multiple times in my life and I was wondering if anyone else experienced the same thing.
