CISSP Exam Passed !
Hi Everyone, I Passed the CISSP exam on Saturday. I attempted the exam in April 2024 but did not pass. Before now I used the following study materials - Official Study Guide (OSG) 9th edition, Sunflower, Luke Ahmed's How to think like a manager, ISC2 official exam prep and few you tube videos by Andrew Ramdayal. Preparing for this attempt, I joined the CISSP Skool Community where I gave me access to all the CISSP test questions and answers with explanation posted by Vincent and most importantly I joined the daily collaborative learning link where I was privileged to study alongside folks like Ed, Matthew, Ricardo, Pavithra, Aidah. Vishal, David, Babar, Emma and others using numerous question banks. I believed this helped me expand my learning and sharpening my exam mindset. I found this write up for my last minutes study - Cleared For Wealth | Break into defense contracting and build real wealth in IT as posted by Chiru. I really appreciate everyone that has helped me accomplish this milestone, especially to Vincent for running such a wonderful platform.

@Ed Morawski Yes of course! - 1. 1. First, I ensured to study in-depth any new terms, topics and concepts I find new while using any of the question banks. 2. 2. Focused on my weak domains from my previous test result - Domain 1, 7 and 8. 3. 3.Simulated the exam by using Quantum CAT until I started passing consecutively weeks before I sat for the exam. 4. 4. Practiced and try to stick to an average of 1 minutes and 30 sec on each question. 5. 5. Followed the guide as highlighted in the CISSP field Manual. 6. 6. During the exam I used the Elimination method a lot 7. 7. Kept pace with time, estimated to answer 50 questions per hour. 8. 8 Took note of key words in the Questions and tried not to think beyond the information stated in the question. 9. 9. Took notes of the confusing wordings in the options in selecting my answers. 10. 10. For the few questions that was difficult in picking the right answers, I picked an informed guess and moved on to avoid wasting time.
