Recording software?
I hope it's ok to ask this here, but what software do you use to record your presentations? I Does anyone know what @Evelyn Weiss uses? I've tried Descript - its sooo complicated! I've got Loom, but the quality is not the best. I have capcut, but I want to add my image in a box to make it a little more personal too, and I don't think I can do that on Capcut. Help! Thank you!

I just do a zoom and share screen. The benefit of descript is that you get a better quality image of yourself and can do more editing of it later, but zoom is good for quick and dirty.
Cold Outreach That Actually Works (and Feels Good)
Cold outreach is one of the most powerful ways to grow your Skool community fast, but for the longest time I refused to do it because I thought it was just icky. What if I told you it doesn’t have to be? Don’t take my word for it — watch the video and see for yourself. PS: It’s still not my favorite method, but… an entrepreneur’s got to do what they’ve got to do if they have big dreams and need to get to a place where they have — or can afford — more leverage. Let me know what you think about this, and cold outreach in general. What’s your experience? What could you offer to people?

I really like this idea as someone with a still small (30) community that's free. This could be a way for me to find the kind of people I want in my community who could bring the right energy. I wonder about the potential downsides -- if people are offended and block me or mark my message spam, will that hurt my performance on the algorithms and get my account locked?

Hello Beautiful Souls! *** 𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐑𝐄 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐓 !!! **** One of the most important skills you can learn (in business and in life) is how to quiet the mental overwhelm & get clear on where you’re stuck and what you’re reaching for. This might sound simple, but it’s actually something we learn and practice over time. When you learn to bring clarity to your challenges, you create space for real movement and make it so much easier for others (including Me!) to give you helpful feedback that truly moves the needle. As @Evelyn Weiss had promised before that I will be helping you all in this community. To support you in building this skill, we’ll be practicing together in our Q&A thread. Hi @Rafi Shaik here's my question, which I think describes the position a lot of us are in... 1. 𝐌𝐲 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 I have 1 month old free community for journaling. In November I will begin offering printable guides and worksheets my community can use to journal in, or track their activity, as well as live events with journaling lessons and activities. 2. 𝐌𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 by the end of the year to have a freemium model. 3. 𝐌𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦 𝐢𝐬 deciding what to offer for free and what to put under the premium wall. Should I a) offer one version of a template for free members each month with more unlocked for premium or b) offer everything for current month free, with past months available for premium or c) everything for current month & topic free, but specific topics & lessons available for premium or d) combination of 1 thing for free each month, more for $9 and everything for a higher amount? 4. 𝐌𝐲 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 in the short term, while I have <30 members, how should I go about building the value in my community without offering a bunch of things for free that I later will want to charge for? I don’t want my members to later feel like I’ve bait and switched them.

@Rafi Shaik this was really helpful!
Not sure I chose the right Category for my Skool...
Is this a good place to ask this question? Self Development or Spirituality, bottom line question.... 1_ My community is about Mandala Art. I give templates and tutorials, (monthly), and other art classes. 2_ But one of the main things is the people - a collection of authentic seekers / peace-makers / aspiring creatives... 3_ And, I love collecting and sharing people's real life miracle stories, so I recently added that, as it also opens up the opportunity to post about more things, so.. more often. I want this part to be encouraging and faith building. Here's the dilemma: So I think I started off choosing "Hobbies" but honestly I don't even know how to find what category I'm in, and I can't remember. I remember not knowing, and taking a guess. 🤣 Maybe "self development" I am wondering now, because mandalas are meditative art, and now that I'm doing the "everyday miracles" part, should I be in "Spirituality?" Self Development or Spirituality? Thank you 🙏

following... I'm curious about how important choosing the right category is. I think most people search by topic, so outside of rankings does it matter?
Where are you at in your Skool journey?
Lately, I’ve noticed everyone’s at a different point with Skool some are just enjoying the courses, some are planning their own community, and others are already running one like pros I’m curious… where are you right now? 👉 Just exploring 👉 Planning to start 👉 Already managing your own community Let’s see how far everyone’s come drop your stage below
