If you could ask a mindset coach one question… what would it be?
Hey y'all! I’m planning to bring a mindset coach into my own community soon — someone who’s personally helped me through so many breakthroughs as a business owner and mom. But I’m realizing that since I’ve done a lot of work in this area already, it’s actually hard for me to think of what beginner-level mindset topics would help the most. So I’d love your input: If you could ask a mindset or life coach one question — what would it be? Or what kind of mindset topics do you think new business owners need the most? (Maybe things like confidence, consistency, fear of being seen, imposter syndrome, etc.) Thanks in advance — I really want this session to meet people exactly where they are 💛

We all know about fear of success and fear of failure but something I learned recently - which I deeply resonate with - is fear of maintaining the success. Maybe they can speak to that?

@Heather Cooksey You’re most welcome, good luck with it! 🍀
Brand new!
Hi I am brand new and I’ve just stumbled across this community and joined in hopes to learn how to use this platform. So I was just wondering… when you start inviting people into your community (which feel awkward because there’s no one in there yet) who should I aim it at. I don’t really just want to invite friends and family as they are probably not interested in my content and not going to be clients. But I am also new to start my business so my social media is low numbers too and they are mostly strangers. Where and how do people even start to build? Should I just keep nurturing my socials in hopes they follow me over to skool? Edit** Ok after looking around -is that what the paid skool traffic challenge is for? Would I need to be a bit further along to benefit from it?

@Sharyn Jackson The Skool Traffic Challenge is fantabulous! I’ve only got 30 members so far but I’m learning so so so much over there! @Evelyn Weiss is a magician, she even has me excited about numbers! 😳 (Which has never, ever happened in my life!! 🫣😂)

Pulling the trigger
Okay... I am starting from ZERO. I have a list of videos to record, but I don't have a YouTube or anything so no content to start with. 🫣 Other than the About page video, any tips on what videos to record first to get SOMETHING in there so I can open up the group? For those like me who started with nada, how long did it take you to get up and running? Thanks!

@Tori Stauffer I don’t have You Tube yet either, the thought of it is so overwhelming to me, it feels like a beast! 😬
I’m new

Teacher Win!
👵🏻Ages ago- 3-4 years ago, I had the opportunity to teach summer school interior design. It was an elective for those repeating classes and we had a ball! This took 6 weeks, 30 students, and lots of patience. Years later, teachers still come in for refreshment, quiet, and of course coffee. Share a teacher win, no matter how small you think it is. A win is a win!

I have an outreach programme called Katie's Readers where we coach youth volunteers in delivering our programme to underserved primary schools in their community. We are currently operating in Jordan, working with highschool and university students. One year, our Applied Science University cohort had a young volunteer who was hesitant to join because she wasn't sure she wanted to be around young children! Her major was in English Language (she wanted to be a translator) but after completing our programme she not only converted her degree to education and but ended up doing a masters in education too, and then went on to set up her own business and outreach programme teaching English!
