Midnight Sun -- Who's Here in Tromsø?
Who is here in Tromsø? Forgive me if I've missed a different thread on gathering -- but post if you're here! I'd love to meet some of you! Just landed and got to my AirBnb. I plan to go to the expo tomorrow afternoon to pick up my race packet.
Tuesday Gear QUESTION 💬
Instead of a thread, a question this week, to spice 🌶️ things up What's one item you own you wish to replace right now?

Does anyone lovvvve the Wolaco running shorts? I have yet to be swayed ($$$ prices!), but having shorts with side pockets that won’t sag saves me from needing a belt or vest on my sub-10/12 runs. Also, ALWAYS in the market for good sports bras.

@Caroline Claassen WOW — I’m so excited to try these! Thank you!!!
Felt cute, might delete later
Just ran my first outdoor mile in a long time, and I’m posting this for accountability. I want this run to be the first of many in 2026. No idea why I’m flashing a peace sign. Maybe I’m signifying that next time I’ll run two miles. But probably not yet. Anyway, happy to start NRC, and happy to be a part of this run club, too.

If you are a millennial like me, peace signs are simply baked into our DNA. don’t fight it, David!!
What Are You Currently Training For?
I got the flu, and will have to (for the second time this year) skip my sub 3 marathon attempt this weekend SO I WANNA KNOW YOUR GOALS 🙌🏽 Do you wanna run further, faster, for a cause, or are you in rehab or just want to get stronger?

Hi, all! My name’s David, and I’m new to the group. I live in the Washington, DC area, and my favorite food is phở. 🍜 My current spirit animal is the red-eyed tree frog, but that’s subject to change. My question to the group (or to those who use iPhones): how do you set up your running/training apps to write to Apple Health? I use a Coros watch, and I plan to do some training via Nike Run Club. Do I turn off write permissions under NRC to avoid double reporting? Should I even link NRC to the Coros app? Or do I just listen to NRC while simply choosing Run on the Coros? Thanks, all.

I am what one might call a “vibe runner” (ok I made that up) — no equipment. Sometimes Strava on my phone for mileage, provided it cooperates (rare). 😹 But I lived in DC for 4 years and still miss it! Great to meet you!
