Hello
I'm Kayla. Better known online as Spicy Squirrel. I’m a digital artist and songwriter blending dark alternative and industrial influences with a "whimsigoth" aesthetic. I’ve spent a lot of time in the visual world, but I’m currently shifting my energy into the music side of my brand. I recently released a 9-track debut album titled Finally Free. While I’m proud of getting it out there, a lot of the process relied on AI tools, and I’m ready to move toward a more "human-made" sound. I want to transition away from heavy reliance on AI generation. My goal is to learn the production skills necessary to incorporate more manual arrangement so that my future releases feel more personal and authentic. I’d love advice on where to start when it comes to "humanizing" my production. If anyone has tips on moving from AI-assisted tracks to hands-on work without losing the dark, atmospheric vibe I’ve established, I’m all ears!
