@Loretta Arey you can do it!
Depression has "press"ure in the name
Pressure sometimes leaves a mark. an imprint. a dent. a *depression* yes. sometimes depression feels like pressure. Pressure to wear an "okay" mask around others. Pressure to do the small things around your house. Pressure to take care of yourself. Yelling at yourself constantly to DO a thing you can't get yourself to do. I know it can be hard to recognize the signs sometimes. for yourself or for others. sometimes those who smile the brightest *arent* okay. They are adding pressure to themselves to *be*. To be normal. to be presentable. to be *there*. for those who resonate with this message - medicine is not failure. Depression has proven medication available. check with your community therapist/psychiatrist. There is help. You don't have to fight yourself constantly. I was reminded that the holidays are rough for many. December/January is the darkest time of the year, which increases seasonal depressive feelings. For many, this may be their hardest season - and it's okay to seek help. you can be okay. And I know this might be a bit of a dark reality - but PLEASE if you are in danger or at risk, check this resource for a help line in YOUR COUNTRY: https://blog.opencounseling.com/suicide-hotlines/ YOU can be okay. Even if right now you *aren't okay* under the mask. There is hope. There is help. And we want you here

And for those who might get concerned about me from this post - I restarted my medication and my psychiatrist is aware of my situation ^_^ I'm in good hands. I was a little dumb and forgot to take them during the legit hardest season of the year 😅😆 at least I now have real proof that the meds are doing their job! (as long as I actually remember to take them :P ) Being real might get some ... real ... situations to show.
Getting started or just want to disappear?
Hello my friends. So, we made it to 2026. Congrats to all of us 😄💪 What are you up to these days?

@Christian Wittmann just - you know - a bit worse for wear from holiday havoc
Friendly reminder...
“The message of the consumer society, pumped out over flat screens... is shrill and unrelenting: You are a failure. Pop culture celebrates those who wallow in power, wealth and self-obsession, and perpetuates the lie that if you work hard and are clever, you can become a "success."... The disparity between the glittering world that people watch and the bleak world they inhabit creates a collective schizophrenia.” Forgot who said it.
Friendly reminder...

I am in a group that does energy clearings, and the feeling of "failure" comes up so much for me in so many aspects of my life that I'm holding onto it. I did the school thing and got the grades, I got the degree, then I went to work in call centers and retail. I started a business .... in a dying mall. my religious culture growing up was that moms are stay-at-home housekeepers and nurturers - but I STRUGGLE with that with my two kids. I can't wait until my daughter is able to go to pre-school so that I can get a breather. I've tried daycares - but they are packed for her age group always, and the one time we found an opening they kicked her out after a week b/c she didn't like how they did nap time (like 3 hours before we normally would, in a classroom with TONS of interesting things and people to interact with). But - this makes me feel like a failure of a mom too that I'm NOT fond of the newborn/toddler phase.

@Dr. Stephanie Murauskas Thank you for your kind words 🙏
A fresh point of view that immediately sets natural priorities
Remember: Nature gave you only two jobs 👉 - find something to eat - don't get eaten by something bigger and faster than you Dive into that picture, imagine it. You may realize how many things can get stripped away of your current way of living. To make it easier and automatically more focused. What's left are the famous things that really matter.

I disagree - lol. There is also the call to "multiply and replenish the earth" as natures job of recursion and growth.

@Christian Wittmann the "words" come from religion - but the law is shown though plant and animal actions.
