Have you ever just wanted to pause the world for a minute? Not escape it, necessarily. Just... stop the clock long enough to catch your breath. Catch up. Rest. Play. Be creative. Without EVERYTHING ELSE piling up while you do. I'm in the middle of a good book right now (The Astral Library by Kate Quinn), and there's a room in it where time stands still. You walk in, spend as long as you need, and when you walk out, everything is exactly as you left it. One of the characters uses it to work in - he brings his workload for the day, takes however long he wants, and then walks out and it's still bright and early in the morning and he goes and sells everything he just finished working on. Nobody waiting. No catching up required. It has piqued my interest, to say the least! š What would you do if you had access to that room? Would you.... - sleep? - catch up on your watch/reading list? - learn a new skill? - work through your to-do list? - sit still and take a moment to breathe? - all of the above? š Tell me! Let your imagination go - what would you do? Rest, work, create, or something else entirely? Drop it below!
