WIN AND GENERAL SHARE. I did my very first sound journey this past Sunday for four ladies, YEAH!!!. We did a variety of things that afternoon. I rented space at a local spa that offered oxygen treatments, did laughter yoga, meditation, etc... The sound journey was right after a meditation. I'm new to playing crystals and have gone through some of Calee's training, read online resources, and watched YouTube videos. I read a blog post about the arc of a sound bath, took musical notes that go together, and created my list. My intention was to heal. Of the four women, 2 stayed still; another started moving near the end, and the one who fell asleep during the meditation seemed restless. As soon as we were done, the restless one said, "I have done sound baths before, and they usually use binaural beats." From Kalee's training, I know that playing the 2 notes beside each other, like C and D, creates a 3rd sound...Discord, I believe, and honestly, I dislike any binary beats. So I was a little disappointed, but I know A) I'm a beginner and B) my intent was to heal, so maybe I "stirred something up in her?" ON the flip side, my sister has knee issues, bone-on-bone, cortisol shots no longer work, and she said one note when right down through her head and down her spine to her knee, and it started to ache a bit, and she just breathed through it. So my guess is that was some healing of some sort? I did NOT hit the bowls hard; I actually hardly hit my bowls. Anyways, I'm trusting I did what was needed. I have so much more learning to do and will keep going! Question: Has anyone else had this experience, and how do you not take it personally when someone figets and was irritated? 1. Do I tell people this will not be a binaural beats sound bath? 2. Is there ever a time when you would just play intuitively for the group? OR is that a "no no?" Thanks so much for your time! :0) 🥰
