Difference between burnout and compassion fatigue
Which do you suffer from the most? Burnout is defined as physical, emotional, and mental exhaustion from long-term, emotionally demanding situations, while compassion fatigue is described as physical, emotional, and spiritual depletion associated with caring for people in significant distress.

I believe I suffer from compassion fatigue more.
Creative Arts and Trauma Therapy
Trauma doesn't just live in the mind—it lives in the body, too. Sometimes healing begins where words end. Art, movement, music, play, and creative expression can help people regulate emotions, reconnect with themselves, and transform survival into resilience. Healing isn't always about telling the story. Sometimes it's about creating a new one. 🎨 What creative activity helps you feel grounded?

Listening to music, dancing, and making up songs as I go along.
What do you think about this line...?
"God does some of His best work in the places we thought were beyond repair." The wounds you carry may not be the end of your story. Grace has a way of finding cracks and turning them into doorways. Keep going. The chapter you're in is not the whole book. Share if you agree or not. Open to hearing your experiences!

Recognizing Tuesday
Recognizing what we are carrying allows us to create a safe space to process and heal our trauma. In this video we are exploring our Window of Tolerance and how to "widen" it for greater regulation capacity or resiliency.

I think the video cuts off before you explain how to widen our regulation.

I had to ground several different times on this wonderful Monday. I stopped shut my eyes and felt my hands and feet touching surfaces and told myself God is going before me. I do not have to fear and I do not have to accomplish anything. I took a small walk at one point. I listened to myself breathing at another point. Learning to ground at any time of the day has been a game changer for me. Telling myself IlI am okay.
