Today, after weeks and weeks of bullet and blitz chess (mostly because I didn't have time for any longer time controls) I finally found time to play a tournament. And not just any tournament, 4 rounds of 30min+0sec online tournament. I didn't expect to be in the top 3, my goal was to play the best chess I can, unfortunately, I played really poorly. There is no time to blame my tiredness or anything that did or did not affect my chess. Long story short, I have won that tournament with 3/4 points. I just wanted to show you some of my games and give a short overview. 1st Game: https://www.chess.com/game/live/124919943047 To be honest, there is nothing much to say about this game. My opponent played e4 and I went for Sicilian. First mistake appears on move 9 were my opponent took my knight with his bishop, in general, trading bishop for a knight without a reason is not good. I made a mistake 1 move later, I allowed my opponent to fork my queen and my bishop while also ruining my pawn structure. Fortunately, my opponent missed that fork. Few moves later my opponent blundered a fork and I converted my advantage. He could have stayed alive a little bit longer but he blundered mate in 1. 2nd Game: https://www.chess.com/game/live/124921745523 In this game I was white. I played English opening and my opponent went for KID. He blunders big on 8th move of the game. Unfortunately, I missed Nxe5. Rest of the game was me playing f4 which was a positional mistake an just suffering a worse position. My opponent made a mistake which could have brought me back to the game, but I miscalculated a really simple sequence and blundered a royal fork. 3rd Game: https://www.chess.com/game/live/124924809867 This was a straightforward game. I was black. My opponent played 4.Bg5 variation of QGD. Even though this game was very interesting, I wont talk about it here because I am too tiered, If you want an in-detail analysis of this game, feel free to ask. I will probably do it in the next 2 days.
