Fix Your Profile Storefront
Once your message is clear, your profile needs to match it. Because the moment someone likes your content, the very next thing they do is click your profile. And if it doesn't confirm what they just saw, you lose them. Use this prompt: "𝘔𝘺 𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘴 [𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵]. 𝘔𝘺 𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘤𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘴 [𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯]. 𝘏𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘺 𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘣𝘪𝘰: [𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦 𝘣𝘪𝘰]. 𝘙𝘦𝘸𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘣𝘪𝘰 𝘴𝘰 𝘪𝘵 𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘴 𝘥𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘺 𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘤𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘳, 𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘶𝘭𝘵 𝘐 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘨𝘦𝘵, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴 𝘪𝘵 𝘰𝘣𝘷𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘰 𝘯𝘦𝘹𝘵. 𝘒𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘪𝘵 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 3 𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴. 𝘕𝘰 𝘫𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘰𝘯." Then check your profile picture, your pinned post, and your link. Do they all tell the same story? Share your new bio below and we'll give you honest feedback 💬

@Jenelle Livet lol… everything is helpful to me. 😝 Just sometimes just a small tweak can make a big difference! 👌
This post from @Karina's Community resonated with me
One of our members, @Karina Sharp , shared something this week that really resonated with me. As I was reading her post, I found myself nodding along because I've been there too... and if I'm honest, there are still days when I feel like I'm there. She talked about something that doesn't get discussed enough: "𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐦𝐞 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐫." 😐 I hear people all the time talking about buying their product & grabbing the affiliate link & promoting it for XYZ%.... My thing is.. who to? Who do I promote it to when I only have 200 followers & we know actually only 10% of those people will see it & of those 10% who actually trusts you enough to buy from you? 🤔 I've been racking my brain to try grasp this concept or is it their strategy? I know there will be the random buyer that just happened to be looking for something at that exact moment & buys from you 🥳 but is that enough to keep a beginner's hopes up enough to keep going? It's like the bathtub effect.. positive - negative - positive. You get a random sale, then nothing for weeks, then you buy another course (thing) to try fix what didn't work from the first thing you bought & you're off on a high till the next slump. .. anyway.. my point is.. as I get closer to 5k (& above) followers, the engagement has been crazy, like I can't physically reply to everyone like I have been. So, all the stressing about finding people has been in vain. I don't think anyone has actually said - IT WILL TAKE YOU 6 MONTHS TO GET ROLLING. So for the first 6 months just grow your page, grow your thing, don't worry about making, selling, all the things.. don't stress about it! Now, I have asked some skool owners directly how long it's taken them to get to 5k followers & when they honestly started making consistent sales. Some are very happy to tell me & some not so happy.🤨 I am also aware that there are some people that just get lucky so sure, its not a one size fits all. I just wish when I started my journey someone said to me : Karina, don't get to excited about making money, having a business plan or retiring for at least 6months. Geez it may have saved a few melt downs & moments of closing my laptop for good, screaming this isn't for me? Because now that i'm nearly 6 months in & finally getting people, people on my pages engaging, communicating with me & asking questions, like i'm an expert.. I can see the picture. Still have a long way to go because I have nothing to offer.. but I can see something!

@Jenelle Livet I guess what you’re saying is the same as what I’ve done but reverse. I have a creator community & you’re suggesting I put something in there totally different to what I’m trying to create in my head. I think I need to rethink my content… or my captions for my content. I don’t want 2 seperate vibes in there! Back to the drawing board for me… 😭

@Jenelle Livet ok.. I’ll look a bit further into the Amazon thing. 😊 So I can have some links for that stuff 🫶🏻
Stop Trying to Be Everywhere Online
One of the biggest mistakes I see beginners make is trying to grow on every platform at the same time. Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn... Before long, you're exhausted, overwhelmed, and wondering why nothing seems to be working. The problem usually isn't that you've chosen the wrong platform. The problem is that you're trying to learn five different platforms at once. Each platform has its own rules, audience, content style, and learning curve. When your time is already limited, especially if you're working, retired, caring for family, or learning new technology, spreading yourself too thin makes everything harder . What Most Successful Creators Do Most experienced creators don't start everywhere. They pick one platform. They learn how it works. They build confidence. They get some traction. Then they expand. That simple shift often makes the difference between giving up and making real progress. A Simple AI Exercise You Can Try Today Instead of guessing where you should focus, let AI help you decide. Before opening ChatGPT, answer these three questions: 1. Who are you trying to reach? Be specific. Instead of: ❌ People who want to make money online Try: ✅ People over 50 who want to learn simple ways to create an online income but feel overwhelmed by technology. 2. What's your main goal? Choose one. - Build an audience - Generate leads - Make sales - Build authority - Grow a community The clearer you are, the better your answer will be. 3. How do you naturally create content? Be honest. - Do you enjoy talking on video? - Do you prefer writing? - Do you like creating images? - Do you enjoy teaching? The platform that fits your natural style is usually the one you'll stay consistent with. Copy This Prompt Into ChatGPT I need help deciding which social media platform to focus on first. My target audience is: [describe your audience] My main goal right now is: [your goal] How I naturally create content: [your answer]

@Jenelle Livet nooooo… I mean… I started pages on all the platforms to test initially & now that they are starting to pick up I can’t let them go. 🤣
Keywords for TikTok
Here is a video from Susan from Simply Social With Suz who runs the TikTok Growth Mastery community. This is a fantastic community and Susan helped me to get my page to over 12k Followers. Here is a tip to get your page categorised so it is sent to the right people https://www.tiktok.com/@simplysocialwithsuz/video/7645718031804419349

So, would that be for every post or just every now & again? I use a scheduling program to try streamline my content flow. This would mean an extra step in the process? But, pretty cool learning hot tips like that. 😎

@Jenelle Livet cool… I’ll give that a crack 🫶🏻
This One Phrase is Killing your tiktok reach
One phrase is quietly killing your TikTok reach — and most people don't even know it. The phrase: "link in bio." TikTok started suppressing content that includes it — in captions, comments, and spoken audio — because it became a spam signal on the platform. So what do you say instead? In your video: "tap my profile to find out more" In your caption: "details on my profile" In comments: "check my profile page" The link in your bio still works perfectly. It's just the phrase itself that triggers the filter. Worth knowing before your next post 📌 
