GPT-6 is here. I'm still teaching Claude. ✦ A post came across my LinkedIn this week. Twenty years in marketing, four million followers, and his verdict was that GPT-6 beat Claude. He's not wrong about what GPT-6 can do. It shipped September 3rd. It's fast. It handles long multi-step jobs. It can work across your files and turn them into a spreadsheet and a deck. One thing he got wrong: he called it cheaper. It isn't. It's priced at 2.5x their last model. The thing he named as the big difference, an AI that does the work instead of explaining how to do it, Claude has been doing that too. Files, spreadsheets, presentations, your browser. But here's the real thing I want to say. None of this is your problem this week. ✦ You are not choosing a model. You are choosing to sit down and use one. ✦ The woman who learned one tool properly is further ahead than the woman who spent six months reading comparison posts. ✦ A smarter model doesn't help you if you open it twice and close it again. I teach Claude because I know it well enough to teach it, and because it doesn't try to be everything to everyone. That's it. If GPT-6 is your tool, use GPT-6. Use it well.
