LET’S TALK PRICING 💸
The conversation about how much we charge for our services is buzzing again, and I really do love this topic! So let’s see: how long have you been doing nails for and how much do you currently charge? 💅

I've been doing nails for I think over 3 years now. I charge $85 for biab or hard gel and $2 per nail for art. I've been wanting to change my prices and make a detailed pricing sheet but just can't make the leap [like I can't decide on how I should charge]

Community Revamp ✨
Hey everyone 👋 I've been doing a lot of thinking about this space lately and I want it to be so much more than it has been. The Nail Tech Corner was always meant to be a place where nail techs could learn, vent, share, and grow together. And while the bones are good, I'll be the first to admit the energy has been a little quiet. That's on me, and I'm changing it. Starting this week, you're going to notice some things shifting: 🗂️ The categories are getting a glow up - cleaner names, easier to navigate 📅 New weekly posts, so there's always something fresh to engage with 🏆 Monthly challenges, member spotlights, and community wins But here's the thing: a community only works if we all show up for it. And I really want this to be YOUR space as much as mine. So here's what I'm asking: please give it another chance. Post something this week. Answer a question. Share a set. Say hi. Let's build this thing together 💅 Drop a 💅 below if you're in.

💅🏼 I'm in. I have been slack on the app due to life changes but I'm going to try my best to participate more.

@Nicky MacLean I'm absolutely loving it!! It's even better than I ever imagined. The only thing tough is going back to taking clients. I don't want to leave my baby.
Dual vs Paper
Please help 🙏 I want to branch out into a new service that is going to provide me with more flexibility. I currently offer soft gel services; biab and soft gel extensions. I find at times I can't offer the greatest service due to nail shape or a desire for a very specific length. I also find the soft gel product isn't hardy enough for some clients. I'd also love to expand into unique shapes. I'm torn between stepping into paper or dual forms, so would love to know which you like better? I'm also on the hunt for a product to use in conjunction with the forms, that could still be a soak off product. Thank you 🤍☺️

I learned to use paper forms and did a little course on dual forms but still haven't done a full set on someone. I'm terrified 😨
Which do you prefer?
Do you use a scrubbie brush, or a “lint-free” wipe to remove dust after prep? 🧽
