Handling Distractions
When struggling with many distractions, it's time to prioritize them. 1. Start a "to-do list" to record each distraction and to assign them in order of importance. 2. Priorize the to-do list using a color system: Red star for urgent; Green star needs done in 36 hours; Yellow star to be completed when time permits. 3. Assign no more than one urgent to be done per day. 4. Schedule the Green and Yellow star to-do's for another timeframe in the week. We have to learn to establish boundaries with ourselves and with other's demands on our time. Remember, we are not meant to live from stress-to-stress. Sisters, remember to renew your mind daily by reminding yourself: "Every distraction doesn't require my immediate attention! Be Confident. Be Authentic. Be Purposeful.

I have to use the stoplight reference because I have a lot on my plate with full-time ministry. I make sure to take time to decompress.
