Appreciate your time n efforts šŸ™ŒšŸ»šŸ¤
Please Welcome Sonali to The Kidney & Health Club
I’m very happy to introduce @Sonali Makani Kayal , a nutritionist and health coach joining the community šŸ™Œ But what makes her journey special is not just her experience — it’s the reason behind it. Sonali’s mother suffered a brain stroke and later developed kidney failure. As a caregiver, she spent years learning about kidney disease, diet, lifestyle, and the emotional struggles families go through. Even after losing her mother in 2016, she continued this journey to help others facing similar challenges. That is the kind of person we want in this community: someone who understands not just the science, but also the human side of illness. Let’s make her feel welcome Comment below with: šŸ‘‰ one health goal you’re currently working on šŸ‘‰ or one diet confusion you want help with We’re building this community together šŸ™

Hi, I’m Karan. I’m from India. My biggest kidney/health concern right now is Post transplant creatine. One thing that would make me feel better is Dropping creatine value.
šŸ„— New Update — Dietician Coming Soon
We’re planning to introduce a dietician inside the community. The idea is simple:šŸ‘‰ Weekly sessions where you can - ask questions about your diet - understand what to eat (and what to avoid) - get practical, realistic guidance This will help especially with: - kidney disease - diabetes - protein leak - daily food confusion Why this matters A lot of people struggle not with medicines…but with what to eat every day This is something we want to make clearer for everyone. Your input matters Do you think this will help you? šŸ‘‰ Comment below: Good idea / Not useful / What would you like covered šŸ™Œ One small ask If you’re finding value here, share this community with someone who might need it. We’re building this together.

šŸ’Š What supplements actually help in CKD?
A lot of people with kidney disease end up taking multiple supplements — often without knowing what is actually needed. What supplements are you currently taking? Comment below — it will help others learn what’s working (and what’s not). Here’s a simple, practical way to think about it: ā˜€ļø Vitamin D Very commonly low in CKD Helps with bone health, immunity, and overall wellbeing→ Best taken after checking levels 🩸 Iron Only if you are deficient (low ferritin / Hb)Can improve fatigue and anemia→ Don’t take blindly — always check first 😓 Magnesium Can help with muscle cramps and sleep in some people→ Use cautiously if kidney function is reduced (eGFR < 20)
