Outdoor breathwork lowers cortisol, boosts oxygen uptake, and clears mental fog. Nature is the original nervous system therapist.
Getting outside to breathe is one of the fastest ways to reset your nervous system. Fresh air increases oxygen flow, sunlight boosts serotonin, and grounding your feet to the earth signals safety to the body. Even a minute or two of intentional breath outdoors can lower stress, slow your heart rate, and bring you back into yourself. You don’t have to “do it perfectly” or wait for the right moment — just step outside, inhale slowly, exhale softer, and let nature help regulate you.

This morning, my friend, who is a fabulous yoga teacher, taught a great class outside on this stunning day. Lots of breath work in the poses while the pines and sabal palms were also doing breath work of their own. It was beautiful - I am still zinging.
