8/21 TRANSMISSION 2: COURAGE
Welcome to Week Two. The theme we're activating this week is courage. The word courage comes from the Latin, then the French, before finding its way into English. The word coeur means heart, but it also points toward our core, our spirit. To have courage is to operate from our spirit and our heart regardless of whether we feel fear, intimidation or anxiety. It is the ability to connect to who we really are and to communicate, express and take action from that place. Why is this important when we're talking about messaging? Because we're programmed on many levels to keep ourselves safe and to play small. Our reptilian and mammalian brains are designed for survival. They tell us to hide, not take risks and not endanger ourselves. Then we add human conditioning. Tribal status, belonging and fitting in all become tied to our sense of safety. Human beings are social primates. We're designed to fit in. So speaking your message, expressing yourself artistically and stepping into leadership all feel risky to the nervous system. And yet there is something in us that wants more than survival. If we want to thrive and contribute, we have to access courage. I've worked on sexuality and embodiment for twenty years and entrepreneurship for fifteen. Both are challenging. But I think the artistic path is even more vulnerable. It asks us to put our heart on the line. To share what's inside us. To reveal parts that are vulnerable or sensitive. To create work that genuinely moves people, we have to take a risk. We have to bare ourselves. We have to bare our soul. And we have to do it over and over again. The bigger risk isn't being judged. The bigger risk is reaching the end of your life and realising you never really expressed your gifts. That you never gave as much as you could. That you never fully showed up. Not making enough money would be disappointing. Not achieving certain goals might sting. But never expressing my real essence into the world would feel like a waste of my life.

This really touched me! Thank you for this transmission. Being reminded to just be courageous is something I need to hear. Noticing myself in this anxious paralysis of not knowing "how to start" and "what to post" and being really in my head about it. Constantly zooming out into the bigger picture and in into the nitty gritty of a reel transition 🤯
1/21 MONDAY TRANSMISION: CLARITY
Social media tells us to build a brand. But a brand is a corporate idea. It works for something like Mercedes-Benz because companies don't need to hold contradictions. You're different. You're a living person with different interests, experiences and perspectives. But you're not just building a brand, you're building a world. I heard a musician describe the moment he understood world-building. He walked into an art exhibition and wasn't that impressed until he stepped into a full reconstruction of an African grandmother's lounge room. The rugs. The record player. The typewriter with a sentence left unfinished. The colours. Even the smell. It instantly reminded him of his own grandmother's house. That's world-building. We're not trying to create a logo and a tagline. We're creating a world people can step into and immediately recognise. They understand the values, the culture and the way things work. WHAT CLARITY IS Clarity isn't just an idea. It's a signal. Your message isn't only what you teach. It's how you look, how you sound, the emotions you evoke and the world people experience when they encounter your work. You don't need to compete with Nike. Artists don't compete like Olympic runners. Nobody argues whether Björk is better than Kendrick Lamar because they're not doing the same thing. You have a perspective nobody else has lived. Your experiences, taste and way of seeing the world are unique. Clarity is self-knowledge. It's finding the details that capture your world. The colour of your grandmother's cushions. The music playing in the background. The small things that make your work unmistakably yours. HOW TO FIND IT Spend time with these questions. - What do I want people to feel when they engage with my work? - What cause would I dedicate my life to? - Who do I feel called to serve? - What hill would I die on? - What books, films and music shaped my worldview? - What values do the people in my world share? This isn't a one-week exercise.

"As artists we don't compete with anyone" really really hit home 🤍
0/21 COURSE INTRODUCTION - WATCH THIS FIRST!!!
This course has been a long time coming. Over the last three years I've stepped away from teaching, gone deeper into my work as an artist and mystic, and completely rethought how I want to communicate. I realised that the old internet marketing approach isn't enough for me anymore. I want to communicate from my whole being. My body. My heart. My intuition. My creativity. My experience. That's what this course is about. Not becoming louder. Becoming more fully expressed. __________________________________________________________________________________________________ THE ETHOS Everything we do here balances two worlds. Structure and intuition. Strategy and soul. Business and artistry. We'll absolutely talk about messaging, content, visibility and influence. But we'll also explore courage, creativity, embodiment and purpose. Because the quality of your message is inseparable from the person delivering it. When you become clearer, your message becomes clearer. When you become braver, your audience feels it. When you become more consistent, your work begins to compound. __________________________________________________________________________________________________ HOW THE COURSE WORKS For the next 21 days, you'll receive one lesson, prompt or activation each day. The journey is divided into three stages. Week 1 • Clarity Who are you? What do you stand for? Who do you serve? What world are you trying to build? Week 2 • Courage What's stopping you from being seen? What fears are keeping your message small? How do you express yourself more honestly? Week 3 • Consistency How do you keep showing up? How do you build habits that allow your work to reach people long after motivation fades? Along the way we'll have live Q&A calls, discussions inside the community and a few bonus resources as well. This isn't a course to binge. It's a practice to live. __________________________________________________________________________________________________

Hey everyone, I’m Kaya, just moved to the Amsterdam. I get really in my head when it comes to posting on socials. It feels like an absolute drain and task, something I need to do in order to be able to do the thing that really lights me up. Unfortunately I haven’t fallen in love with it tho endless attempts, or managed to see it as a creative outlet for me, but I’d like to change that. I’m at the very very start of relaunching myself as a fashion designer and really don’t know how to start bringing that into the world publically- I don’t know where to start and how to keep it going. What I’d love to feel after those 3 weeks is a clearer idea of HOW I can share myself. I know what I care about but I don’t know how to translate it into (fashion) content. I also really want to find a balance between creating good, meaningful content without being endlessly perfectionistic AND consistent, regular content without the depth being washed away (and how to do that without spending an entire day creating a reel!) Looking forward to this!
