Navy Reconsideration limite increase
Hello everyone, I’m new here. My profile is: - Navy Federal (Platinum, $500 limit with an $11k pledge loan) - Capital One ($200 unsecured) - 677 credit score (Equifax) I just received a $2,000 increase from Navy Federal. Is there a way to ask for reconsideration without a hard pull?

@Isabel G @Chrisdy Masson I'd do the same.
Follow up to my ITIN journey
Hi guys If you've seen my other post where I cried about not having an account with CapOne anymore, and things not going super well with my credit file, etc. I managed to open up an account with NFCU, and I'll keep you guys posted if the cashRewards card will work for me, I am still in the process of doing things. I was able to get a checking account with them though relatively easy, and I didn't expect it. As always, massive thanks to Ain for his help!

@Ozgur Bolat They should approve it in about 2-3 business days, I had to wait a bit too

My Bilt card just arrived! After the instant approval with a $3,500 limit, it’s finally in the wallet.

How many months of history do you have? And what other previous card you owned at the time of application?
My ITIN story with about 5 months of history
So, I am coming to this community to share my experience, maybe receive some suggestions about what I did with my ITIN (903-xx-xxxx) so far. I got this ITIN after a super long time of waiting because IRS requested me to sign another paper for them to issue it, which I had to mail personally to the US, besides the application the CAA I used at the time did. Anyway, had it finally on my screen around Sept 2025. So, what happened is that I finally received my ITIN, and I started of with one account: - CapOne Savour One - $59/year or something Used that one religiously for the time being, no transactions outside of US, payments on time, statement balance always adjusted around 6-7-8% of limit, etc. That account got closed out of nowhere with the recent wave of bans. I was lucky that Ain helped me out and exactly one day ahead of the ban he suggested I try opening OpenPay, after being unsuccessful with some other applications (Petal card, DCU, BCU) I also managed to open a Fidelity account for a normal checking account, along with OnePay. What I tried next after OnePay, was AMEX. I failed their pre-approval but they didn't give out a statement as to why, it was something surprising as usually they give out a generic reason, but my rejection letter had none. What did I manage to do to replace CapOne? I opened an Amazon Secured Card (Store Prime Card, I think it only works on Amazon unfortunately, to my surprise) I was curious to hear some opinions on my journey, cards that maybe some of you had working even with low amount of history, etc. Right now my credit file will probably be a bit broken since the very first CC opened got closed (CapOne) So what's keeping it alive is the Amazon secured card + OnePay credit builder thing. Any suggestions on cards to apply in my situation that work outside of the States on day-to-day spending without being closed for that (like CapOne seems to do) If you have any questions about what I shared above, I'll reply in the comments! :)

@Noah Morin Honestly, depending on how things move, maybe there will be another go-to bank rather than CapOne, as it's a bit unstable and riskier from what I learned past few months.

@Alfredo Diaz 4 statements, got closed in between 4th and 5th one. Luckily I'm keeping my credit history active with OnePay and other things, I just don't know how much the acc closure ends up affecting my score. We'll see later.
