Cheers, love the simplicity of this.
Your Program??
Since a big part of this community is to focus on Strenth and Conditioning, I thought I'd see what you're all working on! For me personally my main focus is Strength based power lifting with some O-lifts and Ballistic training to maintain (at least) some explosive/speed strength. What are you working on, and what kind of program do you follow?

I’ve always had an issue balancing strength training and the dojo. Especially since I’m now in my 40s. It’s hard sometimes to think less is more in the gym but when the focus is on the art these days it’s just something I have to accept.

The hard part is figuring out the essentials and stripping the rest down.

Hello folks, lifetime martial artist in my 40s. Trained in a variety of styles both stand up and ground. Currently training Kyokushin for the past year. Looking to learn how to balance strength training with the dojo and a busy family life. Cheers.
