I do them once in a while. I do that ever type of estimate works best for the client. I try to do them in person as much as possible, but when it becomes a friction point for them I ask if they would prefer a virtual estimate, we turn into the "easy button" for them. I ask for them to take two pictures of each space that they would like painted (one from each corner). Then include any details about any extra patching needed as well as if any ofbthe rooms are vaulted.
@Mohamed Dackrory if I was to do all of my quotes virtually, I below my conversion rate would tank ,but I would have a lot more free time. The ones that I know appreciate the virtual quote, close almost around 90%. I dont have this in my job costing so I can't give you real data yet, but that's how it feels. I would not "never do a virtual quote" and I wouldn't "Only do virtual quotes". A lot of my decisions are based around my preferred Customer and how I can be the "Easy Button' for their experience with is us. So I do both.
