🎥 RESQ Sneak Peek — First 3 Videos Now in the Crew
Filming the RESQ module in batches, so these aren't dropping in perfect order — but the content stands on its own. These are barely edited, straight from the training room. A preview of what we'll cover in depth during the Academy. RESQ Overview: What the RESQ method is, why it exists, and the legal basics every rider should know — Good Samaritan law, informed vs. implied consent, and your scope as a bystander. Stop Major Bleeds: The three techniques: direct pressure, tourniquet use, and wound packing. Hands-on demo with a training dummy and a blue training tourniquet. This is the meat and potatoes of RESQ. Trauma Kit Overview: What I carry in my fanny pack and why — four CAT tourniquets, QuikClot combat gauze, chest seals, trauma shears, and the "boo-boo pocket." How to set up your own kit so it stays with you on the bike. More RESQ videos are still in production — Remain Calm, Ensure Your Own Safety, and Quickly Assess Severity are on deck. Once everything's filmed, I'll organize the full watch order so the module flows start to finish. For now — watch these, take notes, and if you haven't taken a Stop the Bleed class yet, put it on your list.

Passing 1%ers
There's huge controversy online about passing large groups of Motorcycle Club members, and Sose the ghost says it much better than I can: https://youtube.com/shorts/ZLx-QoZkYW8?si=-FRk0BABDrD0Tt_b

@Elad Best totally agree
Riding SMART Chapter 1: What Did You Get Wrong?
Five gear items. Non-negotiable before the motorcycle moves. Swipe through the breakdown — then tell me in the comments: Which one did you skip when you started?

Since I first started watching DanDantheFireman's YouTube channel, and only then I finally decided that I wanted to get bikes driver's license, I bought all the necessary protective equipment: shoes, jacket, pants, helmet and gloves, and only then I started learning, with all equipment. Daniel's videos helped to understand well what risks are taken when starting to ride a motorcycle
Crew Update – Internal Certifications (Early Test Phase)
Hey Crew, During the crew meeting yesterday, I talked about something I’m starting to test out: internal crew certifications, beginning with Basic Control. This is very early-stage and experimental. Nothing is official yet — we’re simply testing the idea and seeing how it lands with you all. Basic Control – Proficiency Rules (Test Phase) How it works - Each proficiency requires completing all 5 drills in order - Drills must be completed back-to-back as one proficiency attempt - You may complete it in: Attempts - You get up to 3 attempts per drill - A run = one full attempt at the drill - If you fail all 3 attempts on a drill, the proficiency attempt resets Failure conditions (any of the following fail the run) - Hitting or knocking over a cone - Missing or not following the drill design - Putting a foot down - Dropping the bike Order matters - Drills must be completed in the listed order - Doing drills out of order fails the proficiency, even if each drill is clean Important notes - Speed is not graded - This is about control, consistency, and clean execution - Take breaks as needed — rushing usually causes resets I’ll be working on a video series soon where I actually show how a Basic Control certification would work step by step. Once that’s out, this will make a lot more sense. For now, consider this a heads-up post and a place to gather early thoughts. If it feels fuzzy right now, that’s okay — just hang tight until the video examples are up. Appreciate you all helping me pressure-test this before anything becomes “real.” Good luck @Elad Best !
