What is your current core offer?
Hey everyone, I wanted to take a second to get to know you all and your businesses a little better. Quick question: What's your current core offer, and who is your ICP? One of the reasons I started this group was to build a real network of designers I could bounce ideas off of and refer work to when a project comes in that's a better fit for someone else. But honestly, this question is also something I'm working through myself right now. One of the things that drew me to Alex's content was the idea of crafting a solid offer. For a long time I was just making whatever someone asked for. A t-shirt? I got you. A brochure? Say less. A full brand identity system? Have it to you tomorrow. But as I've grown in my business journey I've realized that approach didn't set me up well. It gave me a ton of experience across the board, but it never let my business plant roots in a core offer. Even after years of working with clients, I'd still have people asking me, "So what do you actually do?" I've since decided to focus on brand identity systems for businesses and events. To break my offer down simply: for $5k, I deliver a complete brand build or transformation in under a month. That includes the strategy, visual identity, and plug-and-play templates you need to show up professionally across every platform without the DIY headache. The piece I'm actively working through is the ICP side. I know I want to work with clients who have the budget to invest in their brand, get real measurable results from the work, and have potential for an ongoing relationship beyond a single project. But locking that down into a specific person I'm talking to every day is still a work in progress for me. So I'm curious on both ends: what does your core offer look like, and how did you land on your ICP? Did it come naturally or did you have to fight for that clarity?

New Here – Designer Looking to Grow and Learn
Hey everyone 👋 Glad to be here and excited to join the community. I’m a designer who’s focused on improving my skills, learning more about the business side of design, and eventually turning my work into a profitable venture. Right now I’m working on getting better at design, building my portfolio, and understanding how to attract clients and grow as a creative entrepreneur. I joined this community to learn from other designers, share ideas, and connect with people on the same path. If you have any advice for someone growing in design or building a creative business, I’d love to hear it! Looking forward to learning from all of you.

@Katherine Pearson I'm still a bit confused. You introduced yourself as a designer focusing on improving skills but then stated that you're here helping your friend pass on an offer. Then you asked for a favor and when asked what the favor was, you mentioned that your friend is offering a free website. What exactly are your intentions here in this group? Are you here to learn and grow with like-minded people? Are you here to help your friend give away free websites? Im just asking so I know how to help and engage.

@Katherine Pearson Gotcha. Why isn’t your friend on Skool? And you still haven’t mentioned what the favor is.

Hey, cool video. I do see some room for improvement. First thing that comes to mind is the overall pacing. Its pretty slow to get to the information. I'd say speed up the overall timing of each section to get to the next. The sections with the Radial white dots (screenshot attached) feel a tad bit unnecessary, making the video drag out a bit more. Lastly, I'd reconfigure the "Our Services" section to fill up the space more to really showcase the work. Id also add more motion to that section as well so that it continues to have a sense of flow and not come to abrupt stops. Final part about this section, While this might sound like im going against my original feedback, i'd slow this section down a bit. You have a bunch of text for the viewer to read but not enough time is allotted for them to read.

Oh and theres need to be a CTA (call to action) at the end so that people have something to do after watching.

Honestly, I didn’t expect this many people to join, and I’m really happy you guys are here. I haven’t been as active as I want to be yet, but I want to make sure this community is genuinely valuable, whether that’s from me or from each other. So I’d love to hear from you: - What made you join? - What were you hoping to find here? - What do you want to get out of being part of this community? - What do you feel like it’s missing right now? My goal is to get this space more active so it’s not just me posting. Hop in these comments and share what you’d like to see.
