Hi everyone! My name is Julius and I am a Christian artist. My artist name is “jvnie” (juu-nee) and im on all major platforms. My main style is rap/hip-hop but i don’t call myself a hip-hop artist or rapper since im very versatile when it comes to music, so i don’t box myself into a specific category. I feel my style is pretty unique sound wise, and lyrically i keep my songs raw. I feel like they are definitely on a more relatable struggles/emotional side at times, but most importantly my music always points to and glorify’s God. My testimony: Back in 2020 I joined the Navy, and during my time in I was on a very dark path. At this time i knew of God, i grew up in church and my mom was GOD FEARING, but i personally didn’t truly know who God was. I was an extremely heavy weed smoker and began getting into pills, shrooms, and acid. I was out every single weekend, sleeping with women, hanging with people i shouldn’t have been, scamming, your typical “fast life”. fast forward to 2023, i recently came home from my first deployment and I was WILD. I was doing everything i was doing before x2 and even got into the car takeover scene where we basically would “cut up” doing illegal driving blocking traffic and acting a fool in our cars, but to a massive scale (100+ cars). One night i was out with a girl (who is now my beautiful wife 🤍) and it was a normal routine for us, we were gunna go out hit the spots and go crazy. everything was cool until it wasn’t. we hit the last spot for the night and cops shut it down quick, so like everyone else we left. but unlike everyone else a cop tried pulling me over, and at this time like i said i was wild. without a second thought (because ive done it so many times) i fled from him. I got into a 130+ mph chase where i ultimately ended up losing control of my car and crashing into 3 cars at a car dealership. The first thing that came to my mind after crashing was almost audible: “If you would have died, you would of went to hell.” By the grace of God me and my wife were protected from harm. I gave my life to God in jail where i spent 6 months really deepening my relationship with Him. So much has happened since then and God has been faithful through it all. This is a lifelong walk that i am committed to with Him and i honestly havent been where i should be with Him but just recently i actually have had a very deep desire to rekindle and restrengthen what i once had with Him. God has called me to make music for Him and to reach the lost through it and again just as of recently i have had a fire to take the calling more serious and devote myself to Him 1st and the gift He has given to me
