Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, so that he may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your cares on him, because he cares about you. Be sober-minded, be alert. Your adversary the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for anyone he can devour. Resist him, firm in the faith, knowing that the same kind of sufferings are being experienced by your fellow believers throughout the world.

The love of my life, the mother of my children, my DEAR WIFE had a procedure last week for her pregnancy and she is on bedrest for the rest of the month. I’ve been using these scriptures with my students for youth group on Wednesdays for a few months so I’ll share it here too The Lord told me in June to tend to my soil. Don’t worry about the fruit you produce, continue to sow and water. When fruit comes, give your first fruits back to Him and continue to sow. Before you know it, those seeds will turn into an abundant harvest. Don’t neglect the growing season, and don’t rush it. He wants us to be able to sustain the fruit that He gives us. Imagine a heavy apple on a weak branch. The branch will snap and the fruit will eventually die. If we grow properly, in due time our fruit will grow and we will be able to sustain it. Then from there we’ll be able to pluck an apple and give it to someone else and feed them. They can take those seeds and plant them themselves and start growing their own fruit trees and the process will continue. It all starts with us tending to our soil, without good soil nothing will grow. If our soil is rich, our fruit will grow, we can feed the sheep and the sheep we feed can feed another. Tend the soil with the word, with prayer, with fasting, with giving, with repentance. Turn your heart to the Father and He will be there waiting with open arms. Most importantly, Keep on, even when it’s hard 💪
