Jolly Ranchers
Hey man, I loved the last couple videos you posted. Wondering if we can get a breakdown of jolly ranchers and fruit by the foot next?

I’ve done fruit by the foot and fruit roll ups. I personally prefer fruit roll ups. I think the fruit by the foot turns out too hard due to its thickness. Shame because it’s so much easier to handle!
Packaging
What is the best way to package? Window Mylar? Or clear small tubs (think egg drop soup containers, small)? And what amount (by weight or volume)?

I too use mylar for the more durable candies and tubs for the fragile items. I have found that using the shrink wrap bands do little to make containers any more air tight. However, I have used stretch wrap (think thin Saran Wrap) around the lid and have been surprised how long some delicate items have stayed crisp. I also used a boba type cup sealing machine and have keep products fresh for weeks. Just know that I haven’t done any formal testing/documenting of results. FYI-I live in a high humidity climate. In regards to bags…test your bags. I’ve filled some with air, zipped them shut and heat sealed them. I then place them underwater to find that there is a leak either at or below the zipper! Just another reason not to bag until close to sale date!
