A Human-first Resilience Framework for the creative industry within the EU
As a founder of this community I’m involved in an EU research project exploring resilience as a lived, daily, and processual practice, which asks how creativity might ground us, connect us, and equip us to imagine — and act on — more humane, inclusive, and future-ready systems. Key areas of exploration: -Learning from those who dare to stand outside the system -Creative thinking for ethical, inclusive systems in the AI age -Resilience as lived, human practice -Creativity, storytelling, and adaptive capacity -Economic and collaborative models for humane, preventive resilience If you’re interested AND have time to get involved.. Raise your hand 🙋🏻 in the comments (this week) and I’ll tell you more.

Curious!
Member from the US becoming visible
Good morning from Gig Harbor, WA, US. I have been a member here since last year via Sarah S., but the calls have all been out of reach time-wise. Hoping something will pop soon that is within reach from the Pacific timezone. In the meantime, I'm so glad you're here and I am joining the lovely humans who are committed to integrating IDGs into our work, lives, and world. Thank you.

Hello from Portland, Oregon @Rory Bakke !
Decolonisation Session 2 on Re-Patterning
💥Fascinating discussion today with over 30 global citizens, thank you to all of you who were able to attend Here is the link from the break out groups harvest that will give you a sense of the richness of perspectives, ideas and insights. At the end of the plenary discussion the idea of universality did come up. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1we64_Qj2iLmnjI5gygnrudzcK20ffsbJzL09g79uLK4/edit?usp=sharing

Decolonising Inner Development - Session 1 recording
Dear all, Several of you showed up at our first conversation in the series around Decolonising Inner Development, thank you! For those of you who missed it, or wish to review the conversation, here is the recording. Also attached a worksheet that may support you in processing/deepening the conversation in your own space. I am still processing the range and depth of reflections that emerge and will hopefully manage to write a synthesis a little later. For now, do share your reflections on this thread.

Thank you so much for holding this space and having this meaningful and courageous conversation. I'm curious if anyone is turning to the work of Vanessa Andreotti? I see she'll be on the mainstage at the IDG Summit this year. With a book group, I read Hospicing Modernity, very slowly, over a 11 month period. Taking two laps around some chapters. It is not easy material, and a group container is very helpful for holding it all. It's a great support for this topic and these times we find ourselves in. As well as her work with https://decolonialfutures.net/ I'm new to actually participating in this community, so maybe this is work actively being explored. Would love to hear about anyone's time with this body of work.

@Maria-Emanuela Galanti Yes, I've seen that she's taken a lot of criticism for her work with AI. I'm making my way through the book she wrote with AI and it is giving me a lot to consider. https://burnoutfromhumans.net/ I think she's ultimately pointing to AI as a mirror for us (and the Earth) and asking us to attune to how we relate to it, which should lead to more mindful use and collaboration. It's a simple reply to a certainly complex topic... and I understand all the emotions that come with the AI conversation. I found her book very challenging, but my group container helped me through some of the hard inner work required when reading it. Just wanted to share my experience, but I appreciate yours as well.
Fundraiser for Sarah's book: Business Like We're Human
Hi Community 👋 I’m thrilled to share some personal news with you today: I'm getting ready to launch my new book, Business Like We’re Human! This book is so much more than just another business read. It’s a call to action and an invitation to reimagine the way we do business—with more empathy, compassion, and humanity. But I didn’t want to launch this book in a traditional way. Instead, I’m inviting you to join me for Conversations for Change—a series of interactive community discussions that bring the book’s ideas to life. These sessions are a space to connect, share, and explore what humane business really means, together. Here’s what to expect: - Business Like We’re Human focuses on finding inner peace to create outer change in the business world. - I’ll be hosting “Conversations for Change”—live, interactive sessions where we’ll dive into new ways of doing business. - These conversations will help fund the Kindle and paperback versions of the book. - The fundraiser runs until June 9th, and the conversations will be held every Tuesday from June 10th to July 1st. - As a thank you, participants will get exclusive early access to the audiobook! While the book is not about the IDGs, it's definitely about working from the inside out! I’d love for you to join me for this special, embodied book launch. 👉 Click the link to join the Conversations for Change and become part of a community that’s shaping a more humane business landscape: https://www.sarahsantacroce.com/id@work The deadline for the fundraiser is June 9th, but the conversations run every Tuesday of June, so you can still join later as well. With gratitude Sarah P.S. In the spirit of transparency: if you chose to help with the fundraiser, you also indirectly help us keep running this community, as I'm giving a commission of the raised funds back to ID@work 😊 P.P.S. I can’t wait to welcome you and other Changemakers to these Conversations for Change! [Click here to donate and join the Fundraiser]
