Kept it simple this week and easing back into a better routine following the flu. Proud I kept meals simple, focusing on protein. Purchased several meals of grilled chicken and batched veggies for salads and steamed/air fryer 2 veg options. Mixed and matched bowls for lunch and dinner. I signed up for a new fitness class and am excited to try something new. Movement the constant struggle. However the cough is easing so getting in my step will be easier.

Is the monthly check in form posted somewhere? I searched here and didn’t find it. I did get a text or email but can’t find it now. I didn’t think to save the form from my 1st month check-in. Thanks!

Win took some time off work to get xtra rest from this sickness. Got in 2 RL & POD sessions which helped a lot and some light workouts. Challenge nothing tasted good so nutrition was likely off. Added protein shakes & bone broth on those days.

Celebrating that I prepared my proteins for the week before I got sick…again. or it never fully left my system. So helpful to have easy meals to assemble when not feeling 100%. Also managed to get a couple workouts in before things really took a turn yesterday. Support with my mindset. I know things happen. It’s tough to not get down when the healthy routines take a little pause due to sickness.

New recipe for the win
The wellness weekly dropped into my in box at the perfect time. I was pondering plans for dinner on my lunch break. This weeks recipe looks delicious & bonus I have all of the ingredients.
