☕ Coffee by the water has a way of slowing life down just enough to ask the questions we often avoid... What if helping other people achieve their dreams could bring you closer to living your own designed life? It's an interesting thought, isn't it? For years, I poured my time and energy into caring for others. As a nurse, a foster mum, and a carer, helping people wasn't just something I did—it was who I was. What I didn't realise was that there was a way to continue making a difference while also creating more freedom for my own family. That's what this journey has taught me. When we help someone gain confidence, learn a new skill, start a business, or believe in themselves again, something unexpected happens... We grow too. Our confidence grows. Our purpose grows. Our friendships grow. Sometimes, so do the opportunities that allow us to design a life with more choice, flexibility, and time for what matters most. Maybe living a life by design isn't about choosing between serving others and following your own dreams. Maybe it's about discovering that the two can beautifully work together.

I have heard that people enjoy the ability to drop in and just chat on live calls. Is this something that our community would like to do? My husband and I enjoy travelling and exploring and our daughter shares the love of the "drive". This weekend we made our way to Kiama, down South of Sydney. Whilst we were there, we were fortunate enought to be able to meet up with a local Lady from Kiama, who is also in our International business community with our business. - This moment made me long for more connection with big hearted souls like Alma, and so now I am brainstorming ways that I can connect more with others. Watching the live event in Orlando, USA (Nicole is there in person but I couldnt break away from the family at the moment to travel for the event.) One of the speakers who has had great success in her business, held zooms everyday x twice a day for a whole year to introduce the digital business to others. To be available to discuss the business with her leads. Honestly, this kind of scares me - as I don't think I have the capacity to do this but I am intending on holding calls more regulary. Do you see the value of more live calls?

Sometimes the biggest thing holding us back isn't a lack of ability. It's simply becoming disconnected from the project, dream, or goal that once excited us. Life gets busy. (This is my household at the moment - thats ok) Responsibilities pile up. Unexpected challenges appear. And before we know it, the thing we were so excited about has been pushed to the bottom of the list. Here is the good news? You don't have to start over. You simply need to reconnect. Reconnect with the reason you started. (Discover your strong why- need help? There is an exercise in the classroom). Reconnect with the impact you want to make. Reconnect with the person you're becoming through the process. Progress doesn't come from doing everything at once. It comes from taking the next step.
