Hi there! I’m Julia. I’m currently moving toward my dream – I’m relocating to Barcelona very soon. Less than 10 days left OMG!! No one really talks about the fact that alongside feeling inspired, happy, and proud, you can also feel freaking scared and terrified. Sometimes fear literally paralyzes me. I’m moving alone with my dog, and I’ll be building everything from scratch – friendships, a new home, relationships. Of course, I have support from my friends and family, but honestly many of them think I’ve done something very stupid — quitting my corporate job (I was a Creative Director at the largest bank in Russia and was very well paid), leaving a stable relationship (he didn’t want to move), and heading into the unknown, without a clear plan. They often say like “Oh you’re so lucky to be that brave, I could never do that.” And that’s a bit demotivating, because it’s not true. I wasn’t born brave. Not even close. I just take risks and move forward despite the fear. What I truly want is to be surrounded by people who understand what that means. People who know the price of change. And I really hope I’ll find the right, supportive tribe ❤️
