Hi Carey and everyone! I’m in! My name is Julia and I am so thrilled to have found this group. I’m 29 from California, (she/ her pronouns) and I’ve recently become a florist. Fair warning, I have typed out a very long essay of an introduction lol. I’m so sorry. I have a lot of spiritual gifts that I want to learn more about and strengthen/ gain control over. One of them is being a medium or tarot reader. Ever since I started doing my own readings I’ve felt gifted with the ability to get accurate information and I feel connected to a higher being or beings. I need help controlling my mind around sort of sensitive areas as my ego sees it. (Like if I feel the need to have a lot of respect for someone my mind can sometimes spit out the opposite of what I want. The duality is what drives me crazy.) Also sort of recently I’ve been getting better at picking up on/ feeling energy intuitively. I learn a lot of my lessons alone on my journey or through dreams. So it’s nice to start joining a space where I can learn from others and not feel so alone on my walk. I get vivid visions as well, when I’m awake but getting ready to dose off into sleep. I also got diagnosed with schizoaffective depressive type, ptsd, and adhd from 2020-2024 (When I got diagnosed). Although I do not identify with these labels full heartedly, as I believe they are spiritual gifts instead of solely mental health problems. And since the spirit and mind affect each other I’ve seen what poor spiritual hygiene can do. I grew up not being properly guided spirituality or just in general. So I ended up getting into lots of trouble and hurting my spirit. But at the same time my trauma is what drew me closer to developing these gifts. And even when I was a kid I always had this feeling that something magical was inside of me. Now I fully believe in thought magic and all that good stuff. I also really want to learn how to control my energy and stay grounded. I tend to be very up in my crown and as a result forget that I have a body sometimes. So my energy can be all over the place and add intrusive thoughts to the equation and well you know, it gets difficult.
