🥵 Sunday heat check
@Luis Vega-Mendez how’s everything going in Nebraska? Is it boiling there too? También puedes decir: It’s scorching outside. I’m melting out here. It’s hot as hell today. I’m staying in the shade. Mini reto de domingo 👇 Complete this sentence: It’s so hot today that I’m going to... Examples: It’s so hot today that I’m going to stay at home. It’s so hot today that I’m going to drink cold water all day. It’s so hot today that I’m going to avoid the sun. Una frase. Fácil. Domingo. Calor. Y un poquito de real English 🥵💪 Now you 👇

@Oscar Rodriguez Miranda yes I can back that up!!! Or ……. I saw it myself!!
@Jesus Gavira thanks, I use back up as " doy fe " but probably the meaning could be “ yo apoyo eso”, Isn’t it?
☕️ Monday English Check-in
Complete this sentence: This week, I’m going to... Examples: This week, I’m going to practise English for 10 minutes a day. This week, I’m going to speak more and worry less. This week, I’m going to finish something I started. ✅ Real. ❌ No perfecta. 🔥 Real. I’ll start: This week, I’m going to keep building this community little by little. Now you 👇

@Jesus Gavira Yes I’m thinking about two workmates right now that could become the life of the party!! Jajajajaja
@Jesus Gavira yes, you are right!!! You are thinking about the same two guys!! 😂😂😂
Mini práctica rápida 👇
Ojo, no quiero una respuesta perfecta. Solo una frase real con una de estas expresiones: 1. run into = encontrarte con alguien por casualidad 2. run out of = quedarse sin algo 3. run over = atropellar / pasarse de tiempo Ejemplo: Yesterday I ran into an old friend. Ahora tú: Escribe UNA frase con: I ran into... I ran out of... o I ran over... Una frase corta vale.
In febrary of this year I run into an old friend I hadn’t seen for many years
Last week I couldn’t joint the speaking class I ran over in my gim sesion 😔😔

🌱 Word of the day: THRIVE
Example: Some people don’t just survive difficult situations. They thrive. Complete this sentence: After a difficult moment, people can thrive by… Examples: After a difficult moment, people can thrive by helping each other. After a difficult moment, people can thrive by staying strong. After a difficult moment, people can thrive by rebuilding their lives step by step. One sentence. With respect. With heart. And in English. 👇
After a difficult moment, people can thrive by going out, runing, hiking, ……… I think that It’s the best way to clear your mind and keep going.
