How I Beat the Candy Bowl Trap
I grabbed my first Shugeeze a few weeks ago and wanted to share a quick review for anyone else with a sweet tooth. At my office, sugar is basically a sport. Candy bowls everywhere, donuts showing up like clockwork. Shugeeze has become my go to move. One spray and the craving just… loses its grip. The stuff that usually pulls me in stops looking tempting, and I can walk right past it without that internal debate. It’s simple, it works fast, and it keeps me in control instead of the cravings running the show. I highly recommend giving it a try.

You're welcome Janna and thank you!
Post #4 🍭 The Adult Sugar Monster
When the Sugar Monster grows up, things get... messy. The adult version isn’t cute or innocent anymore. This one is bold, loud, and fully out of control. It doesn’t whisper for sugar. It storms in like, “Move. I’m running this show.” And here’s the part we all feel but rarely say out loud. The adult Sugar Monster doesn’t care about your goals. It doesn’t care about your plans. It doesn’t care how frustrated you feel when you try to eat better. It only cares about one thing: keeping its sugar supply steady. It’s entitled. It's dramatic. It's convinced sugar is the answer to everything. Bored? Sugar. Sad? Sugar. Happy? More sugar. Breathing? Definitely sugar. But the chaos isn’t a sign that you’re weak. It's a sign that your Sugar Monster has been running the house for a long time. It thinks it owns the place. Here’s the good news. You don’t have to fight it. You just have to see it. Once you recognize the voice of the adult Sugar Monster, you separate it from your own. You can literally feel the difference between its impulsive demands and your actual intentions. And that’s where the power starts to shift. Awareness is the first step. Naming it is the second. Taming it is the third. The adult Sugar Monster might be out of control right now, but that doesn’t mean it gets the final say. You do. 💪🍬

"This one is bold, loud, and fully out of control." I have been here before. I agree, awareness is the key to taking control. And once you are aware, it's still a constant battle, at least for me. I have found the best method is avoidance. I'm all good unless there's some ice cream in the freezer... 😅

The Shugee the Sugar Monster Story - Series Post
I'm creating posts about the Sugar Monster and why the heck it can cause so much struggle and frustration in our lives. This storyline is a work in progress. I encourage you to share your experiences with your Mental Monster, Shugee. What helps you resist it, and what can totally derail a week's worth of effort? By the end of the story, you'll win the sugar game, defeat Shugee, and become your own Hero.
