Excited!
Cmhc insured
Anyone have experience with Cmhc? I’m closing a 6 unit in Montreal with 50 points for energy at their MLI select program. I got a quote for an 85% loan at 4.39%, and 40 year amortization. The only part I’m unclear about is the insurance. How much will that be, and how much will that add to my monthly payment? Does it come out of pocket, or added on to the loan? Thank you for any responses!

Commercial financing for Single family homes
So cool. I have a student rental that has lots of equity in Hamilton and was able to refinance it using commercial financing (rate was not bad at 5.9%). No income needed, based entirely on the strength of the property (so essentially a DSCR loan) Happy to share details if interested.
