Upscaling and dpi
I’m in the process of trying to make posters. I’m a little bit confused about dpi and upscaling. At the moment I’m making posters on canva by creating a custom template of 84.1cm x118.9cm (which I think are the dimensions for A0) and putting the pixel size to the max on canva of 9,993 x 14,043. When I download these I’m pretty sure I get a 300 dpi. I’ve read the comments about using upscayl but I don’t think my laptop is good enough to download it on my desktop. Is my current method good enough? If not should I just list posters from A1-A5 and ignore A0?

@Suzanne Penn 1. Download your image from Midjourney as normal 2. Put the images through Upscayl desktop app (4x Upscayl is fine) 3. Upload image to Canva in A0 file (841 x 1189mm I believe) 4. Download from Canva at max settings 5. Limit file size to 25,000kb Done ✅ Hope this helps 😊
Upscale
I'm sorry to ask if it already has been. What is everyone using to upscale? Without the monthly subscriptions etc. Thank you

Set of 3 vs 3x Individual Listings
Hey guys! Had a little browse through the archives here but was looking for some more experience based feedback. I’ve only recently started adding “sets of 3” and just wanted to know your experience in orders + profits of these vs say, 3 individual print sales of a similar design with a 20-30% discount? At the moment it seems more beneficial to have the 3 individual sales of similar items as it also gives you a boost in total sales, but I could be wrong! 😁 Cheers!
File naming and storage
Hi Any thoughts on file naming for the images in the shop and uploaded to Printshrimp? Also how do you store the images on your computer, just in folders or something more functional? Thanks for any advice. David

Hey David! Depends on the design for me. Let’s say I’d made a travel print for Bryon Bay, in Etsy my SKU would be “Bryon” and Printshrimp would match in order for sales to integrate. If I make a variation of the Bryon Bay print, my next SKU in Etsy would be “Bryon_1” and again, Printshrimp would match. On my computer the saved file would be “A0 bryon_1 MASTER” I also have a HUGE Canva document with all of my designs in them, I just also have the files saved on my laptop for mockup purposes and on the off chance I lose access to my Canva files one day. As Mihai said above, has to make sense to you! What might work for a shop with 100 listings might not be feasible for a shop with 1000 listings 🤷‍♀️ Hope this helps!
Waiting for my first sale
Hi everyone! I’m new to POD and I wanted to ask how long/how many listings did it take until people got their first sale. I’m just trying to set my expectations appropriately! Thank you :)
