Thriving Thursday: Create Your Morning Ritual ๐ŸŒ…
Your morning sets the tone for your entire day. A well-structured ritual can help you take control of your mindset, productivity, and overall focus. For me, my morning ritual is simple but powerful: I start with the hydration practice we talk about in the community (filtered water, a squeeze of lemon, and a pinch of Himalayan salt). Then I spend 5 minutes journaling about whatโ€™s in my control and how I want to approach the day ahead. Why is a Morning Ritual Important? The Stoics believed that how you begin your day determines how you respond to the challenges ahead. Marcus Aurelius wrote in his Meditations: "At dawn, when you have trouble getting out of bed, tell yourself: I have work to do as a human being. Why am I grumbling to go out and do what I was born to do?" A Simple Challenge for You ๐Ÿ”น Start small: Design a 10-minute morning ritual. It could include hydration, journaling, stretching, or reading something inspiring. ๐Ÿ”น Stick with it for one week. Observe how it impacts your focus, energy, and ability to stay calm throughout the day. Letโ€™s Share and Grow Together Whatโ€™s one thing you currently do every morning that helps you stay on track? Or, whatโ€™s one change you want to make in your mornings starting tomorrow? Letโ€™s create mornings that set us up for strength and success. Share your rituals in the comments belowโ€”weโ€™re here to learn from each other and celebrate progress! ๐ŸŒŸ

I use to have an extensive morning routine, and then after being in the 100 and listening to Alex H, I now get up and do creative work first thing before I do anything. Other than this first thing now: - Meditate for an 1 hour at 5:00am - Do yoga stretching right after for 10 minutes - Clear the house and office with Palo Santo Then I sit down and get right to work on creative for about 90 minutes. I pushed my gratitude journaling to the evening routine time.
