Rest period
What is an acceptable rest period between sets of 12-15 ? 1 Min ? 2 min ?

Also forgot to ask - sorry for the multiple questions- what if you’re doing 5 sets and you rest 30 sec between the 1,2,3 and then 1 minute between 3,4 and 5 ?
What pulled you back in?
Let me ask you something honest. When you fell off before, and most of us have, what actually pulled you back? Not the advice. Not the motivation. Not the right video. What was the moment? Because I've noticed something with the guys who stick with this long-term: they all had a moment. A doctor visit. A photo. A morning where they couldn't do something they used to do without thinking. The discipline came after the decision. Not before. What pulled you back in?

Trt question
TRT question You’re not concerned about a stroke or cardiovascular event from Trt ? My Dr discouraged me from this due to possible complications…. He recommended T booster which is OTC …. What are your thoughts ?

Still Training Like You're 25?
Most men over 40 are training like they're 25. Same ego. Same heavy loads. Same joints paying the price. The shift isn't about doing less. It's about training smarter than you ever have. Higher reps. Full control. Every rep deliberate. That's not backing off. That's upgrading your standard. A few of you are already inside the premium program, working through a training program built specifically for you. What's one thing you've changed about how you train since 40? Drop it below. 👇

@Kerrie French good move …. I’m concentrating on mind muscle as well / and I actually learned what progressive overload really is
Mind Muscle Connection
Most guys are moving weight, not building muscle. There's a difference. At our age, the ego needs to stay out of the gym - because if you can't actually feel the muscle working, you're just going through the motions. I built more in my 50s than my 30s once I stopped chasing numbers and started feeling every rep. Next time you're doing a curl, I want you to genuinely ask yourself: did I feel my bicep do that, or did I just move the weight from A to B? What's one exercise where you've genuinely cracked the mind-muscle connection, and what did it take to get there? Where are you right now with this? I added a poll below so we can see where everyone is 💪

I’ve been doing lighter weights with blood volume sets …. Concentrating on form …. Workout 4 x weekly … slow eccentrics … push pull legs routine …. 2 sets each …. Cardio zone 2 At this age that’s what works for me .
