John 1:10 “He was in the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him.” It’s possible to be close to something and still miss it. Jesus wasn’t distant in this verse, He was present. Walking among people. Speaking. Healing. Loving. Yet many didn’t recognize Him, even though He was the One who created the world itself. How often do we miss God’s presence simply because we expected it to look different? Sometimes we look for big signs, when He’s working through small moments. Sometimes we overlook peace because we’re waiting for something dramatic. Sometimes we miss direction because it comes as conviction, not noise. Hope in this: Jesus still came into the world that didn’t recognize Him. That means God doesn’t withdraw just because we struggle to see Him. His presence is steady, even when our awareness is not. Where might God already be present in your life that you haven’t recognized yet?

How can we pray for you today? I love to pray. I'm the type of guy who will stop what I'm doing to pray for someone. When someone comes to me and ask me to.pray for them, I just say let's pray now. I find prayer to be urgent. Not something that is to be put off until later. I wasn't always this way. One day my Pastor was talking to a couple of people and I was waiting patiently to talk to him. He stopped and asked if he could help me. I just wanted to know if he would pray with me when he had some time. He stopped what he was doing and he prayed with me. It's Monday and it's time to share that song you have been playing in your head. It could be a new song or an old song you like. A song that motivates you. I am involved with a men's ministry on LinkedIn and every Monday we share a song with each other. We have been doing this for over a year now. I brought this same for Monday's when I created this community. I do ask you keep the song respectable. No cussing or anything crude.
