RAM Hunting Success
I spent an hour hunting down ram on Ebay and managed to get a bulk lot of 16gb sticks, and I didn't have to sell a kidney!

You’re not the only one. Prices are out of hand. I use to refurbish laptop and sell them. The recycle places will sell me only laptop with no ram or ssd and charge me extra for it.
Do you think that home labs are going away in 2026 and beyond? Your thoughts?

It’s the best time for home labs, I’m finding Nucs and mini PCs that won’t run windows 11 on Facebook marketplace for $30-$40. A lot of my clients want to move away from the cloud and are asking about labs
🔥What are you running your lab on?
Hey everyone, just wanted to throw out a quick poll on what everyone is using to run their labs. Curious with the VMware by Broadcom shakeup, how many are exploring other hypervisors or technologies.

I’m still in planning and migrating, so far CasaOS running on Ubuntu server 24.04.3. PfSense. NAS will be TrueNAS on its own separate hardware. My PC is a Blackview Mini Pc.
MicroCould
I just came across MicroCloud, look interesting. Has anyone used it? I’m thinking of using it over proxmox.
