Self Hosting Website
Currently, I pay for web hosting. I am thinking of self-hosting my own website as a project. Is that something that you guys also do, or u pay like I do now.

I host all my own, but have a fail over on a separate server so i can quickly switch.

Just make sure you protect it properly, and, if you have an authentication option for login use MFA and Fail2Ban. I also GEO-IP Block

Proxmox, Proxmox Backup, NGINX Reverse Proxy, Dashy, Technitium, TrueNAS. That's my baseline along with Debian and Ubuntu baseline images configured the way I want.
Server RAM
I have an Intel S3420 server board that I am trying to add ram to and it will not post. Both are registered 1333 ddr3 ECC unless I am wrong. Any help is greatly appreciated, it on my Proxmox machine. Two different sticks in the pic below. Smaller is 4Gb and larger is 8Gb

@Brandon Lee yes I second that, check out the user manual and it will tell you the order in which to populate.
