Anyone have a home lab check list of sorts they do daily?
I captured some of the things I check here. Also, what kind of automation are you using for daily health sanity checks outside of monitoring tools? Proxmox Question - Cloud Init
I have created a template using cloud-init but the hard drive in the cloud init template is to small. I want to be able to increase the size of the cloud init drive so there is capacity for upgrsdes etc etc, how do I do this whilst creating the clound init image?

Something really weird happened. Created a VM from my cloud init based template. When I restarted my proxmox server it booted the cloud init image not my proxmox. I'm totally confused how that happened
Foray into Active Directory
Its been several weeks since posting as the whole house has been decorated and recarpetted. Very recently I have been experimenting with Active Directory, using a virtualised version of Windows Server 2019 in Proxmox. 1. Installed Windows Server 2019 2. Created an Active Directory Server Role 3. Created four domain users, three normal, one admin. 4. Created domain user storage 5. Tested user from a different windows vm Results Domain user successfully logged in, storage automatically recognised and mapped when logged in. Next steps..... Setup domain software deployment.
