I finally got up today… I was a bit busy over the weekend. Some of you might understand… family life. Anyhow, So my western sign is Leo. My Chinese sign is Ox. My mayan sign came up owl?! Playdough them together and what do you get… the hell if I know! LOL!

I was a bit more inspired today to do less academic sketching and do something a bit more developed and just really plain random. I just started scribbling, keeping the lines light and defined things as they went along. I didn’t bother with the eraser cause if I did I think i’d become too precious. These days when I want to call on my muse I do it ever so gently as to not scare her off. :)

I've been a bit MIA from this community as I've been taking a step back and refocusing my artistic direction. After a chat with Alex R., he suggested I share in the community. So, I'm making good on that promise. These are just a few images from the past few years. Pieces I'm pretty happy with and hinted at a new horizon to explore. When I was 16, my girlfriend dragged me kicking and screaming to the El Capitan movie theater in Hollywood. She wanted to go see a new Disney movie called ‘Aladdin.’ I was vehemently opposed because I’d outgrown cartoons. I was a ‘serious’ artist 😆 Reluctantly, I went. And walked out of that theater a changed creature. I knew I had to get into animation…. I HAD TO BE AN ANIMATOR!!!🤩 What’s an experience in your life that changed or inspired your creative trajectory?
