Did someone pay you to remove this? I thought most/all storage facilities auction off their units to recoup past due balances. Was this the storage unit owner who just wanted everything out?
Why Do I Need To Know My Why?
Every heard of groundhog day, the movie where evevryday (Bill Murray's Phil Connors relives the same day over and over again in Groundhog Day. That's what happens if you are not intentional about the direction you are moving in. Your "WHY" is your destination. A reason or place you are heading that nothing is going to stand in your way to prevent you from getting there. What drives or motivates your life and your work? The famous saying, "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results," UNKNOWN (Some say this quote is from Albert Einstein) What can we learn from this statement? That is we don't make change happen we will continue to get the same results. Most people are like a ship on the sea getting blown around by the wind and going wherever the wind is blowing not having a port or destination in mind. These people underestimate the power of the subconsious mind in helping us get to where we are going.

I love that movie. Honestly, probably wouldn't break that cycle for a million years or ever if I could wake up each day with all my lived memories and the same age each day. Definitely would become a piano expert first if I had all that time. Unfortunately, father time never stops (which means death is always catching up to us), which is a great reminder of the need to prioritize!
After 40 Years Of Entrepreneurship: Here What I Think About Winning Versus Losing
It's never about winning and losing; it's all about having a good plan, a plan that will change as things make sense. Perservering when it's tough, not giving up, and knowing that if you remain flexible and think about what you are doing, you will make it. Honestly there is no competition, most people have given up. You just have to go that one extra step. (Picture from 8 years ago).

@David Lockwood Hi David, I totally didn't notice your question until now. My ultimate goal is to have enough money to retire and spend time with my kids, who are all under 12, before they grow up. I'm already working a full-time day job, with a reselling side-hustle, and don't spend anywhere near as much time as I should with them. My vision is to expand my resale business to multiple categories and hire people to do all the work. I would like to recreate what you guys have done so that I am no longer paying (even if cheap) for stuff and get people to pay me to take their stuff. It's been me solo for 3-4 years with an occasional helpers (<150 hours a year). I've 2x-3x my revenue every year and I'm at around 100K revenue a year at this point. I'm planning to purchase your premium course at the beginning of Sept.

@David Lockwood yes, I was thinking of hiring them for advertising videos and other office related tasks, mostly to set them up with potentially tax free investments (IRA, etc). I literally just had my latest one last week, and the others are 11, 6, 3. I’d be very proud, as I’m sure you are, to have a family business run by my children. Highschool and prior teaching are so out of touch with what’s needed day to day, and college is a waste for half the classes of any practical degree.
Mentors - Stand On The Shoulders Of Giants - Its all Mindset and Procedures
Thanks, I have read hundreds of books and still read through mostly audiobooks every day. I reread the important ones over and over. It's the way to stand on the shoulders of entrepreneurial giants and get ahead faster because of their experience and not so much trial and error. Its a huge time saver. These are must-reads. Minset is everything.

Just finished listening through a series by MJ DeMarco, highly recommended. Currently, listening to the Almanac of Naval Ravikant (hadn't heard of him prior to last week, but apparently a longtime Silicon Valley entrepreneur).
Luck Favors The Prepared
Being able to do the business when it presents itself. Mainly what I am talking about is having the tools available to do the business when it shows up!

So true, as a reseller, before I got my pickup truck I was severely limited to what I could pickup even if given free. Same with not having access to a trailer or a helper I can call on, or with extra storage space.

@David Lockwood I just finished the basic course. I'm a bit nervous about advertising for removal though without having a solid helper I can call up. How feasible is it to remove stuff having only an F150 (I can get a trailer from U-Haul when needed) and doing it solo?
