How to: Personalize An Email To A Coach (DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COLLEGE SOCCER PLAYER)
Hey everyone, I just wanted to share with you guys another video on my YouTube channel about how to personalize an email to a coach. This video should hopefully give you an idea of what you could say rather than just copying and pasting the same email to several different coaches. Please let me know what you think of the video and if you found it helpful.

Let’s not waste time.
If you’re serious about levelling up as a footballer—not just in your skills, but in life—read this: 1. Train more than you scroll. Touch the ball more than you touch your phone. 2. Netflix? Nah. You don’t need to binge-watch when you could be building your future. 3. If your hometown keeps seeing you as the old version of you, it might be time to bounce. Sometimes you grow faster away from comfort. 4. I know it sounds cheesy, but gratitude works. Helps you stay grounded, even when things aren’t going your way. 5. Keep things simple. Stack small wins. And outwork people behind closed doors. 6. Learn something new every week—about football, mindset, or just how to be sharper. 7. Everyone’s got opinions. Most of them don’t matter. Trust yourself and do your thing. 8. Say no more often. Protect your time. Unless it’s about getting on the pitch—that’s always a yes. 9. Invest in yourself. Your game, your health, your mind. That’s the real flex. 10. Make fewer decisions. Have a routine so you’ve got more energy to dominate. 11. Build a solid circle. People who push you, not just hype you up. 12. Trust your gut. Especially during games. Overthinking kills creativity. 13. Ask questions. Even the “dumb” ones. That’s how you grow. 14. Get 1% better every day. It doesn’t sound like much—but it stacks fast. 15. Read. Watch clips. Study players. The best ballers are students of the game. 16. Don’t buy stuff to impress people. Invest in things that actually help your game. 17. You don’t have to do it all alone. Find mentors. Find coaches. Learn to let people help. 18. Put the phone down sometimes. Go juggle. Go touch grass. Let your mind reset. Every single one of these can help you become a better player and person. But not all of them will hit home right now. #About2Win

So many great points here, but "Get 1% better every day" really sticks with me. It's all about consistent effort. Thanks for the inspiration! #About2Win

Win Through Skills: Confidence, Control, and Consistency
When I think about winning over the next quarter, I think about setting big, audacious goals… Focusing on mastering the ball… And measuring what truly matters. If you were to do the same, here’s what I’d push you to focus on: 🔥 Massive Movers → The skills that truly elevate your game. Control, confidence, and composure under pressure. Drill down, focus, repeat. These are your needle movers. 🎯 Tracking Targets → Know your numbers. Juggles, touches, consistency. If you’re not tracking, you’re guessing. Improvement starts with knowing where you are. 💪 Power Position → What makes you stand out? Your ability to control the ball? Your creativity? Your confidence in tight spaces? Find your edge and sharpen it. ♾️ Retention & Reps → You don’t just want to learn skills—you want to own them. The difference between a good player and a great one is how deep the skills run in their muscle memory. Retention, repetition, refinement. This is what I’d go all-in on for the next quarter… and then come back with data to adjust. Let’s get to work. 🚀⚽ #About2Win

I agree that tracking targets is essential. I also think visualizing your progress is a powerful tool.

@Felix Schwarze Absolutely! I've personally found that visualising a specific move or controlling the ball in a tight situation beforehand makes a huge difference when I'm actually on the field. It removes a layer of hesitation and allows you to execute more confidently.
