WEEK THREE CHALLENGE!
For the next 7 days, get outside and get active each day. The key here is to put your phone on DND and spend your time outside in silence. Use the time to focus on GRATITUDE!

Love it! Leaving the headphone at home this week for parts of my runs.
Jackrabbit Jubilee 12 hour Ultra
I am pumped to announce I got registered for my first 12 hour loop race on August 22nd! I’m shooting for a goal of 50 miles minimum! I’m really looking forward to doing some hard things!! Very excited into my journey of Ultramarathon though it is all just mental prep for one day ringing the bell and hearing those 4 words 😏 Not really sure if posting things like this is okay. Just very excited and want to shout it from the rooftops! Let me know if it breaks any rules.

@Casey Robles did my long run was supposed to be 16 but my knee was hurting and I’m in the process of getting them checked. Ended up doing backyard style for it. 53 mins, 55 mins, 55 mins. Though it was 12.33 so just under official backyard distance. My goal for 12 hour race is just under 14 mins so I’m pumped about these paces.

lol update we signed up for a backyard last person standing in December and Jackrabbit turned into a training race within the first week of training 🤣☠️
WEEK TWO CHALLENGE! Seven Days of Choosing Hard.
For the next 7 days, do one thing each day that you'd normally avoid. For example: take the stairs, finish your day with a cold shower, park farther away, wake up when the alarm goes off, or skip the snack you don't need. Feel free to comment each day with what you chose. Let's do this!

My hard thing today! Only my 3rd time going half marathon distance. Even did it backyard ultra style(why the elapsed time and workout time are different) . 3 yards at 53,55,55 mins. Then just finished out half marathon distance. These paces may not be the fastest but my race goal is just under 14 mins pace for 12 hours, so I’m pumped about them!

@Mike Rusnak 20 hours?!
Join me for a live Q&A this Friday.
I’m doing something I’ve never done before, I’m hosting my first-ever free LIVE Q&A this Friday at 4:30 MST, July 24th!! You can ask me anything, seriously, whether it’s about the Conquer 100, 50-50-50, Ironman training, how I became the Iron Cowboy, lessons from the last 20 years, or anything you’ve just been curious about. Nothing is off the table. I just want to hang out, answer your questions, and spend some time with this community. You guys have supported me for so many years, and this is one small way I can give something back. You can find the event in the Calendar tab here in the community. Just click the Zoom link to register, and it’ll add it straight to your calendar. I’ve also dropped the registration link below. https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_5o1QjfP9QY2lFKoZHq309A I really hope to see you there. It’ll be a fun conversation, and I can’t wait to connect with you all.
